The Duke of Kent, President, the Stroke Association, this morning received Mr. Stephen King (Chairman of Trustees) and Ms. Juliet Bouverie (Chief Executive) at Kensington Palace.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception given by His Excellency Professor Piotr Wilczek at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, 47, Portland Place, London W1.

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys) was represented by Brigadier Sir Melville Jameson (former Commanding Officer, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards) at the Thanksgiving Service for Lieutenant Colonel Michael Blacklock (former Commanding Officer, The Royal Scots Greys) which was held in St. James' Church, Station Road, Muthill, Crieff, Perthshire, today.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association, this morning attended the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Corticobasal Degeneration International Research Symposium at the Pan Pacific Hotel, 80 Houndsditch, London EC3.

His Excellency Mr. Ndolamb Ngokwey was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic Republic of Congo to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Jeannette Nyabu was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms. Macenje Mazoka was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia in London.

Mr. Roy Dersley Youpa was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King and Queen this afternoon gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace to thank those who contributed to and were involved with the State Funeral of The late Queen Elizabeth II and with the Coronation of Their Majesties.

The Queen, Patron, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, this afternoon received the Reverend Canon Michael Parker upon his appointment as Chaplain General to His Majesty's Land Forces.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Veterinary Corps, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended the launch of the Corps History Book at the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, London SW3, and was received by the Earl Cadogan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this evening attended the Trafalgar Night Dinner at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London SE10, and was received by Vice Admiral Sir Adrian Johns (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Spinal Injuries Association, was represented by Mr. Faisal Hussain (Chairman) at the Memorial Service for the Baroness Masham of Ilton (Founder and President) which was held in Westminster Cathedral, London SW1, this afternoon.
