The King this morning planted a commemorative tree at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum, Tetbury, as part of the Wollemi pine conservation project and was received by Mrs. Jane Jenner-Fust (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire) and Mr. Andrew Smith (Director, Forestry England).

Dr. John Sorabji was received by The King this morning upon relinquishing his appointment as Deputy Private Secretary to His Majesty.

The King this afternoon attended a Celebration of Craft Reception held by The King's Foundation in Gloucestershire and was received by Mr. Constantine Innemeé (Director).

His Majesty viewed craft stalls and met alumni of The King's Foundation.

His Excellency Mr. Roy Leonardo Barreras Montealegre was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Colombia to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Claudia Fernanda Gonzalez Amortegui was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Tore Hattrem was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Norway to the Court of St. James's.

Ms. Marit Gjelten was also received by His Majesty.

Ms. Corin Robertson (Director General, Finance and Corporate, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

The King this afternoon visited Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, London W5, and was received by Mr. Richard Kornicki (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), Mr. Andrew Rollings (Director) and Councillor Hitesh Tailor (Mayor of the London Borough of Ealing).

His Majesty toured the Christmas Market in the Town Square and met local business owners before meeting winners of The King's and Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

The King viewed performances by a Polish choir and the Impact Theatre group before undertaking a walkabout outside the Shopping Centre.

His Majesty afterwards drove to Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery, Ealing Green, London W5, and was received by the Chairman of Trustees (Mr. Howell James) and Ms. Clare Gough (Director).

The King viewed restoration works that have been carried out inside and outside the house and met craftsmen and women and stonemasons involved.

The Queen this morning opened Winter Flowers Week at the Garden Museum, 5 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Majesty, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this evening attended the Carol Service in St. Paul's Cathedral, London EC4.

The Baroness Swinburne was received by The King upon her appointment as Baroness in Waiting to His Majesty.

Dr. Grahame Davies was received by The King this afternoon when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Hon. Dr. Hugo Boyce and the Hon. Mrs. Christine Barling were received by The King and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by their father, the late Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce.

The Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The Queen, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, this morning received Mrs. Jane Long at Clarence House upon assuming her appointment as Chief Executive.

Her Majesty, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, and Royal Patron, Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, today received children and young people from Helen and Douglas House and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and helped them to decorate the Christmas Tree at Clarence House.

The Queen this afternoon visited Ashiana Refuge in London and was received by Mrs. Lynne Cooper (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The King this morning visited the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre, Shephalbury Manor, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, and was received at the Cathedral of St. George by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr. Robert Voss), the Bishop of St. Albans (the Right Reverend Dr. Alan Smith), Archbishop Angaelos, Archbishop of London, and the Mayor of Stevenage (Councillor Myla Arceno).

His Majesty attended an Advent Service in the Cathedral and subsequently met members of the congregation and volunteers from the Church's ministries at a Reception in the Cathedral Hall.

Mr. Gareth Evans was received by The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King afterwards attended the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28) in Dubai and was received by The President of the United Arab Emirates.

His Majesty subsequently gave an Opening Address at the Opening Ceremony of the World Climate Action Summit.

The King this afternoon arrived at Royal Air Force Marham from the United Arab Emirates.

The President of the United Arab Emirates (Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan) visited The King today in Dubai.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia visited His Majesty.

The King later attended the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28).

His Majesty met Chief Executive Officers of clean energy companies this afternoon.

The King later attended a Commonwealth and Nature Reception and was received by the Secretary General of the Commonwealth (the Baroness Scotland of Asthal) and Dr. Marc Palahi (Chief Executive Officer, Circular Bioeconomy Alliance).

Afterwards The President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana visited His Majesty.

The King subsequently attended a Meeting with Women Climate Leaders.

His Majesty this evening attended a Reception.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles, this evening attended the Biennial Rifles' Awards Dinner at Guildhall, London EC2.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The King this morning departed Royal Air Force Marham for the United Arab Emirates and was received this evening at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai, by His Majesty's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (His Excellency Mr. Edward Hobart) and the Ambassador from the United Arab Emirates to the United Kingdom (Mansoor Abdullah Khalfan Juma Abulhoul).

The King held a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening to mark the Global Investment Summit.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths' Own), this morning received Lieutenant Colonel William Richmond upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Robin Davies upon assuming the appointment.

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, this afternoon planted a commemorative oak in Sandringham Estate in celebration of The late Queen Elizabeth II's Seventy Five Years as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths' Own).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
