The King this afternoon joined a Reception in Gloucestershire given by The King's Foundation for individuals and organisations celebrating their Seventy Fifth Birthday and Seventy Fifth Anniversary.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Mercian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant General Ian Cave (Colonel) and Brigadier Peter Dennis (Secretary) at Windsor Castle.

His Royal Highness, President, the Football Association, was present at the Funeral of Sir Robert Charlton (English professional footballer) which was held in Manchester Cathedral this afternoon.

The King laid a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

A wreath was laid on behalf of The Queen by Major Oliver Plunket.

Wreaths were also laid by The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Edinburgh and The Princess Royal.

A wreath was laid on behalf of The Duke of Kent by Captain George Hopkins.

The Queen, The Princess of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

The Princess Royal afterwards took the salute at the March Past of Ex-Servicemen and Civilian Organisations on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.

The King and Queen were present this evening at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall when Their Majesties unveiled statues of Queen Elizabeth II and The late Duke of Edinburgh.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also present.

Ms. Jennifer Jordan-Saifi was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing her appointment as Assistant Private Secretary to His Majesty when The King invested her with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

His Majesty this afternoon attended a Handover Ceremony in Windsor Home Park for the Cedar of Lebanon gifted by The Pope to Queen Elizabeth II to mark Her late Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, and was received by the Apostolic Nuncio (His Excellency Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía) and the Archbishop of Westminster (His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols).

His Excellency Mr. Luis Vayas Valdivieso was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Ecuador to the Court of St. James's.

Ms. Mette Pedersen was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Osman Topcagic was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for Bosnia and Herzegovina in London.

Mrs. Topcagic was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King this afternoon visited the Central Synagogue, 36-42 Hallam Street, London W1, to commemorate the Eighty Fifth Anniversary of Kristallnacht and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and the Chief Rabbi (Sir Ephraim Mirvis).

His Majesty, escorted by the Chairman of Trustees for the Association of Jewish Refugees (Mr. Michael Karp) and Mr. Michael Newman (Chief Executive), met survivors of the Kindertransport.

The Queen, Patron, the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory, this morning planted a Cross of Remembrance in the Field of Remembrance at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, and subsequently viewed the Remembrance Plots, before meeting members of staff in St. Margaret's Church.

The King held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The King this afternoon visited the Korean community in New Malden in advance of the forthcoming State Visit by The President of the Republic of Korea, and was received at New Malden Methodist Church, 49 High Street, New Malden, by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Ambassador from the Republic of Korea to the Court of St. James's (His Excellency Mr. Yeocheol Yoon) and the Mayor of New Malden (Councillor Diane White).

Inside the Church His Majesty, escorted by Councillor Elizabeth Park (Councillor, Kingston Council), viewed an exhibition on the One Hundred and Fortieth Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the United Kingdom and Korea and met representatives from community, cultural, culinary and faith groups based in New Malden and the surrounding area.

The King, escorted by the Founder of the Korean British Cultural Exchange (Mrs. Justina Jang) subsequently visited a local Korean-owned cake shop and met local young Korean residents.

His Majesty afterwards visited New Malden War Memorial in the High Street and, having been received by the President of the New Malden Branch of the Royal British Legion (Alderman Ken Smith), met Korean War veterans.

Later, Mr. Mark Lane was received by The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The King and Queen this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to recognise the United Kingdom's contribution to humanitarian efforts across the world.

The Duke of Gloucester was present.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Dr. Farahanaz Faiza at 22 Nottingham Place, London W1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Maldives in London.

The King, accompanied by The Queen, travelled in State to the Palace of Westminster today to open the Session of Parliament.

Their Majesties drove in a Carriage Procession, escorted by a Sovereign's Escort of The Household Cavalry, under the command of Major William Charlesworth, The Blues and Royals, and were received at the Sovereign's Entrance by the Earl Marshal and the Lord Great Chamberlain.

Guards of Honour were mounted at Buckingham Palace by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards with The King's Colour, under the command of Major Andrew Campbell, and at the Palace of Westminster by F Company Scots Guards with the State Colour, under the command of Major James Drummond Moray.

A staircase party of The Household Cavalry was on duty at Victoria Tower, House of Lords, under the command of Captain Mark Quickfall.

Royal Salutes were fired in Green Park by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major John Baileff, and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Major Matthew Aldridge.

The Imperial State Crown, the Cap of Maintenance and the Sword of State were conveyed previously to the House of Lords in a Carriage Procession, escorted by a Regalia Escort of the Household Cavalry.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms was on duty in the Prince's Chamber and the King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard.

The King's Bargemaster and Watermen were on duty.

The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Household and the Pages of Honour to The King (Nicholas Barclay, Ralph Tollemache, Charles van Cutsem and Lord Oliver Cholmondeley) and the Pages of Honour to The Queen (William Keswick and Arthur Elliott) were in attendance at the Palace of Westminster.

Their Majesties returned to Buckingham Palace and were received by the Lord Chamberlain and the Vice-Chamberlain of the Household.

The King and Queen this evening attended the Royal Ballet's performance of Carlos Acosta's "Don Quixote" at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2, to recognise and thank front line National Health Service workers, and education and arts providers, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Sir Lloyd Dorfman (Chairman of the Royal Opera House) and Mr. Alexander Beard (Chief Executive).

The King this morning participated in a discussion on the role of interfaith dialogue at Mombasa Memorial Cathedral, Kenya, and was received by the Bishop of Mombasa (the Right Reverend Alphonce Mwaro Baya) and the Chief Executive Officer of Coast Interfaith Council of Clerics (the Reverend Dr. Stephen Anyenda).

His Majesty afterwards visited Mandhry Mosque and, having been received by the Chairman of Mandhry Mosque Committee (Sheikh Ali Said Al-Mandhry) and the Mombasa Chairman of Coast Interfaith Council of Clerics (Sheikh Mahamud Abdillahi Mahamud), was briefed on the contribution of the Mosque to interfaith dialogue work done by Coast Interfaith Council of Clerics.

The King and Queen later visited Fort Jesus, Mombasa, and were received by the Principal Curator (Ms. Fatma Twahir) and Ms. Joyce Nzovu (Arts and Culture Programme Manager, British Council Kenya).

Their Majesties viewed the Coral Steps, Old Kitchen and Chapel ruins.

The Queen this morning visited the Situation Room at Tononoka Social Hall, Mombasa.

The King and Queen this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Kenya.

Vipingo Reach, Mombasa, Kenya

Yesterday The King met Kenyan World War Two veterans at Kariokor World War Two Commonwealth War Graves in Nairobi, Kenya, and presented them with campaign medals.

The King and Queen this afternoon arrived in Mombasa, Kenya, and were received by the Hon. Musalia Mudavadi (Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs).

Their Majesties travelled by Admiral's Barge from Mombasa Ferry site to Mtongwe Naval Base and were received at the Naval Base by The President of the Republic of Kenya and Mrs. Ruto.

His Majesty was subsequently received with a Royal Salute and inspected the Guard of Honour.

The King and Queen afterwards viewed a covert beach insertion by the Kenya Marines at the beach head and met Kenyan Navy families, the exercising troops and instructors.

His Majesty later visited Nyali Beach, Mombasa, and was received by the Head of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Research Center, Kenya Wildlife Research and Training Institute (Dr. Mohamed Omar) and the Founder of Early Birds' Banda (Mr. Abeid Hamud).

The King proceeded to Early Birds' Banda and was briefed on beach clean-ups, rehabilitation for youth, mental health and training on lifeguarding, before visiting the beach, escorted by Mr. Bryan Michuki (Youth Advocacy Officer, United Nations Environment Programme), meeting representatives of organisations engaged in the mitigation of marine pollution, recycling and upcycling.

His Majesty subsequently visited the turtle conservation site at Nyali Beach and was received by Corporal Beatrice Cherop (Kenya Wildlife Service).

The King later visited Kuruwitu Locally Managed Marine Area, Vipingo Reach, and was received at Kuruwitu Community Conservancy by the Chairman of Kuruwitu Community Welfare Association (Ms. Miriam Jabali).

His Majesty proceeded to the beach area, via the permaculture garden, and subsequently fixed a plug into a coral nursery bed (artificial coral reef growing structure), before flagging off the planting of the structure in the ocean floor.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
