New Royal Colonels appointed

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN

The Queen has been pleased to appoint new Royal Colonels to the following Regiments and military units, some of whom formerly had Queen Elizabeth or Princess Margaret as their Colonel (indicated below).
