Prince Harry has been awarded the honour of Parade Commander for the CCF Tattoo at Eton College next month.
Prince Harry will take the central role at the Combined Cadet Forces Tattoo, on the 27th May, which involves giving the command to march the 48-strong Guard of Honour, with their colours, on and off College Field.
During the Tattoo, he will salute the Inspecting Officer and conduct him through the inspection of the assembled cadets.
In the run up to the event, Prince Harry will have to set the standard for the other cadets. He will lead them through rehearsals and ensure their good turnout, conduct and progress in learning the drill.
The Parade Commander has to remain calm and collected throughout the Tattoo, and will be in the spotlight throughout the ceremony.
Prince Harry is delighted and honoured to accept the role.
