The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visit Ireland

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visit Ireland at the request of the British Government, following visits by Their Royal Highnesses in 2015 and 2016.
On arrival in Dublin, The Prince and Duchess were received by President Higgins and Sabina Higgins at the President's residence, Áras an Uachtaráin.
Their Royal Highnesses spent the day in Kilkenny, with highlights including a visit to the local market and an engagement at Kilkenny Castle, where they saw some traditional music and watch a hurling demonstration by the Gaelic Athletic Association.
The Prince toured the United Nations Training School Ireland at the Curragh Camp while The Duchess visited the Irish National Stud.
Their Royal Highnesses attended ceremonies at Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin to commemorate those who lost their lives in the First World War and during the Easter Rising.
Whilst in Dublin, His Royal Highness also met The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, before Their Royal Highnesses concluded their visit by attending a Reception at the British Ambassador's Residence.
