Princess Alexandra meets patients at Royal Trinity Hospice

Princess Alexandra has met patients with life-limiting illnesses and medical staff who provide end-of-life care during a visit to Royal Trinity Hospice.

During her visit, the Princess saw some of Trinity Hospice's care in action, including physiotherapy, art therapy and relaxation group sessions. She then paid a visit to the wards to chat to patients and their families.

Royal Trinity Hospice, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, provides care to people with progressive, life-limiting illnesses from across central and south west London. During her visit, Princess Alexandra also visited Trinity's retail office where she learned more about how the charity's 25 shops and new online eboutique are helping to support this important work.

Dallas Pounds, Chief Executive of Royal Trinity Hospice, said, “We are delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra to Trinity today. We are thrilled she has been able to see the wide range of support we provide patients and families, at all stages of illness. We are also proud to share our exciting plans for Royal Trinity Hospice shops, without which we could not continue.”
