The Princess Royal visits Estonia

In her role as Colonel-in-Chief of The King’s Royal Hussars, The Princess Royal has visited the Regiment who are currently on deployment in Estonia.
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, arrived in Estonia on Tuesday 25 January, where she was welcomed by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia, His Excellency Mr. Ross Allen.
At the Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, Her Royal Highnessed then attended a dinner hosted by the President, His Excellency Mr. Alar Karis.
On Wednesday 25 January, Her Royal Highness visited The King’s Royal Hussars at TAPA Military Base.
The King's Royal Hussars (KRH) are an Royal Armoured Corps regiment of the British Army, and The Princess has been their Colonel-in-Chief since their formation in 1992.
The Regiment are currently part of Operation CABRIT, which is the codename for the UK's deployment and contribution to NATO's enhanced Forward Presence.
During the visit, Her Royal Highness was briefed on the operation, and was shown equipment used in Arctic Warfare. There was also the opportunity to meet soldiers in multinational battlegroup, including the Scots Guards and Troops from Denmark and France.
The visit finished with a reception at the British Embassy in Estonia, where she met Embassy staff and personnel currently serving on Operation CABRIT.
