The Queen and Members of the Royal Family attend the Chelsea Flower Show

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, and other Members of the Royal Family, attends the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Established in 1913, on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has become one of the world’s greatest showcases for horticultural excellence, attracting visitors and exhibitors from across the globe.
Since its beginning, the show has gone from strength to strength. It has grown from 244 exhibitors in 1913 to over 500 today, including gardens, nurseries, floristry, educational displays and trade stands. Today the show attracts 165,000 visitors.
The Queen and The Duke were joined by other Members of the Royal Family as they toured the gardens and saw displays.
Gardens at this year's show included The Sir Simon Milton Foundation Garden, inspired by 500 years of Covent Garden and its famous flower market. The Wedgwood Conservatory, celebrates the historic link between the company and the RHS, formed after John Wedgewood suggested the idea to George III's head gardener William Forsyth.
