The Queen visits Manchester to meet victims of the Manchester Concert Attack

Her Majesty met some of the victims, their families and the staff who have been treating them at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

The Queen visited Manchester on 25 May 2017 to meet victims of the Manchester Concert Attack.

The Queen was at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital meeting staff and some of the victims and their families.

After the attacks, The Queen released this message where she said:

I know I speak for everyone in expressing my deepest sympathy to all who have been affected by this dreadful event and especially to the families and friends of those who have died or were injured.

In the message, The Queen also said:

And I would like to express my admiration for the way the people of Manchester have responded, with humanity and compassion, to this act of barbarity.
