The Queen visits RAF Marham

The Queen, Honorary Air Commodore, is visiting Royal Air Force Marham in Norfolk today.

RAF Marham is a military airbase, with over 3,600 working personnel. The base provides engineering support across the RAF and is home to the F-35B Lightning, a military aircraft.

Today, Her Majesty met station personnel currently in training.

The Queen watched a demonstration of virtual training in the Air System Maintenance Trainer Classroom. This special equipment provides new pilots with simulation-based training to practice flying planes.
