Royal visit to Canada in 2005 announced

THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Canada from 17 to 25 May 2005. They will visit Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Background
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh last visited Canada in October 2002. They carried out engagements in Nunavut, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick and the National Capital Region.
