Day One
Today, The President and Mrs Trump arrived in London at the start of their State Visit to the UK at the invitation of The Queen.
The official arrival
They arrived by helicopter, landing in the Buckingham Palace gardens.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall escorted the guests to the West Terrace of Buckingham Palace where they were greeted by The Queen.
UK and US National Anthems were played before a Royal salute and inspection of the Guard of Honour by President Trump and The Prince of Wales.
The Royal Collection display
Following a private lunch, The Queen and other members of the Royal Family escorted their guests around an exhibition of items from the Royal Collection which celebrated the enduring relationship between the US and the UK.
Westminster Abbey
Later in the afternoon, The Duke of York accompanied the President and Mrs Trump to Westminster Abbey where they laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior, a tradition for visiting Heads of State.
Tea at Clarence House
Having greeted their guests on the lawn of Buckingham Palace earlier in the day, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall welcomed the President and First Lady to their official residence in London - Clarence House.
The State Banquet
The lavish finale of the first day of the State Visit was a State Banquet held in the Ballroom at Buckingham Palace.
During the banquet, both The Queen and President Trump gave speeches.
Tonight we celebrate an alliance that has helped to ensure the safety and prosperity of both our peoples for decades, and which I believe will endure for many years to come.
In her speech at the banquet, The Queen spoke of the mutual aims and beliefs of both countries, saying, ‘Mr President, as we look to the future, I am confident that our common values and shared interests will continue to unite us.’
Day Two
Day two of the State Visit began with a business breakfast at St. James's Palace, which was attended by The Duke of York.
The President went on to have talks with the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street.
Meanwhile, the First Lady visited the Churchill War Rooms with the Prime Minister's husband Mr. Philip May.
in the evening, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended a dinner in London hosted by The President and The First Lady at Winfield House in London.
Day Three
On the final day of the State Visit, the President and Mrs Trump are attending D-Day commemorations in Portsmouth alongside other Heads of State whose forces were involved in the campaign. 75 years ago to the day, troops left Portsmouth for the beaches of Normandy.
The commemorations involved speeches from Heads of State whose countries were involved in the campaign - including President Trump - as well as stories from veterans and musical performances.
The Queen bid an official farewell to the President and Mrs Trump in Portsmouth once the service had ended.
