The Princess Royal, Chancellor, Harper Adams University, this morning visited the University's Future Farm, Edgmond, Newport, and met the 2023 Marshal Papworth Foundation Scholars, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mrs. Anna Turner).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Fisheries Museum's Reaper Appeal, this afternoon visited the Scottish Fisheries Museum, St. Ayles, Harbourhead, Anstruther, and was received by Mrs. Fiona Robertson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Fife).

Palace Of Holyroodhouse

The King this afternoon visited Kinneil House, off Provost Road, Bo'ness, to mark the Centenary of Kinneil Estate becoming a public park, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Falkirk and Stirling (Mr. Alan Simpson), the Chairman of Friends of Kinneil (Mr. Ian Shearer) and the District Visitor and Community Manager of Historic Environment Scotland (Ms. Rachel Sydesserff).

His Majesty toured the House and gardens, meeting members of staff and representatives from The Prince's Trust and local charities and organisations.

The King this afternoon was received in the Forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost) and members of the City of Edinburgh Council, when the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost surrendered to The King the Keys of the City, which His Majesty returned to him.

A Guard of Honour, found by the King's Bodyguard for Scotland (the Royal Company of Archers), under the command of Lieutenant General Sir Alistair Irwin, was mounted in the Forecourt.

Afterwards The King was received inside the Palace by the Hereditary Keeper (the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon).

The Lord Lyon King of Arms (Dr. Joseph Morrow) subsequently presented the new Elizabeth Sword (part of the Honours of Scotland) to The King, which His Majesty returned to him.

The King this evening attended a Reception on board the ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA, Ocean Drive, Leith, Edinburgh, to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the Yacht's arrival in Edinburgh, and was received by the Chairman of the ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA Trust (Rear Admiral Neil Rankin) and the Chairman of the Association of Royal Yachtsmen (Commodore Anthony Morrow).

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning opened the Thirtieth Scottish Traditional Boat Festival at Portsoy Harbour and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mr. Andrew Simpson).

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) telephoned Her Excellency Mrs. Mikaela Kumlin Granit today in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Sweden to the Court of St. James's.

The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon received Professor Eamon McCrory (Board Member, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood Advisory Group) at Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal, President, this afternoon presented Prize Day awards at the Royal School Haslemere, Farnham Lane, Haslemere, and was received by Mrs. Helen Bowcock (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Appendix To Court Circular

The Princess Royal has been pleased to appoint Mrs. Susanna Cross to be an Extra Lady in Waiting to Her Royal Highness.

The appointment is with immediate effect.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the People's Forest Project at Garvagh Forest, Garvagh, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of County Londonderry (Mrs. Alison Millar).

His Royal Highness afterwards met members of the Royal British Legion and local community groups in Garvagh Village.

The Duke of Edinburgh later visited Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple, Mussenden Road, Castlerock, and was received by Mr. William Oliver (Deputy Lieutenant of County Londonderry).

His Royal Highness this afternoon met representatives from Mae Murray Foundation and the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty at Portstewart Strand, County Londonderry.
