Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the East Manchester Community Boat Project at Portland Basin Museum Marina, Portland Place, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, to mark its Thirtieth Anniversary.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon visited the site of a new homeless housing project in Yeoman Way, Newquay, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Sir Edward Bolitho).

His Royal Highness afterwards met lifeguards and those working with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution at Fistral Beach, Headland Road, Newquay, and was received by Mrs. Jane Hartley (Deputy Lieutenant of Cornwall).

Buckingham Palace

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Engineers, this morning visited 3 Royal School of Military Engineering at Gibraltar Barracks, Minley, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson) and the Commanding Officer (Lieutenant Colonel Robert Grant).

His Majesty was received with a Royal Salute from the Quarter Guard.

The Queen, Patron, Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, this morning visited the Royal London Hospital, Stepney Way, London E1, to mark International Nurses Day and was received by Mr. Leslie Morgan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Majesty, President, this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Brooke Hospital for Animals.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the London Mozart Players Trust, afterwards held a Gala Concert and Dinner at St. James's Palace.

The King and Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment played selections of music during the afternoon.

Later the Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The King was represented by The Duke of Kent at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Stirling Moss (former Formula One racing driver) which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, this morning.

The Princess Royal was represented by Sir John Stewart.
