    Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Osteoporosis Society, afterwards attended a Reception at Victory Services Club to mark the Ninetieth Anniversary of the British Dance Council.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, later visited the Royal School of Needlework, Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, and was received by Mrs. Gillian Norton (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this morning visited the St. John's Ambulance Newcastle Headquarters, Westgate Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mrs. Susan Winfield).

    His Royal Highness this afternoon presented The Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade to Gate 7 Limited, Unit 12, Princes Park, Princesway, Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

    The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Jarrow Hall, Church Bank, Jarrow, Tyne and Wear.

    His Royal Highness later attended a Tree Planting Ceremony in support of The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy at Jubilee Woods, Church Bank, Jarrow.
