The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning departed Gatwick Airport, London, for Canada and was received upon arrival this afternoon at Vancouver International Airport by the Hon. Michael Farnworth (Deputy Premier of British Columbia).

Her Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Canadian Navy (Pacific Fleet), accompanied by Admiral Laurence, today carried out engagements in Vancouver.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended the Commissioning Ceremony for HMCS MAX BERNAYS at North Vancouver Burrard Drydock, before attending a Reception onboard.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner onboard HMCS MAX BERNAYS at sea.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Gloucestershire County History Trust, this evening attended a Reception at Little Sodbury Manor, Little Sodbury, South Gloucestershire, and was received by Mrs. Jane Jenner-Fust (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Buckingham Palace

The King received the Bishop of Peterborough (the Right Reverend Deborah Sellin) today who did homage upon her appointment.

His Majesty received the Bishop of Birmingham (the Right Reverend Michael Volland) who did homage upon his appointment.

The King, Patron, Cancer Research UK, and Patron, Macmillan Cancer Support, and The Queen this morning visited University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre, Huntley Street, London WC1, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Rabbi the Baroness Neuberger), the Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Research UK (Ms. Michelle Mitchell) and the Chief Executive Officer of Macmillan Cancer Support (Ms. Gemma Peters).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Mr. David Probert (Chief Executive, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), toured the Centre, viewing equipment and meeting patients and their families, clinicians and nursing staff, and charity representatives.

The King and The Queen, Patron, this evening gave a Reception for the London Clinic at Clarence House.

The Queen, Patron, later gave a Dinner for the London Clinic at Clarence House.
