Buckingham Palace

The King, Patron, Cancer Research UK, and Patron, Macmillan Cancer Support, and The Queen this morning visited University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre, Huntley Street, London WC1, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Rabbi the Baroness Neuberger), the Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Research UK (Ms. Michelle Mitchell) and the Chief Executive Officer of Macmillan Cancer Support (Ms. Gemma Peters).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Mr. David Probert (Chief Executive, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), toured the Centre, viewing equipment and meeting patients and their families, clinicians and nursing staff, and charity representatives.

The King and The Queen, Patron, this evening gave a Reception for the London Clinic at Clarence House.
