His Excellency General Cheikh Wade was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Senegal to the Court of St. James's.

The King held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The winners of the Defence Operational Shooting Competition were received by His Majesty at Windsor Castle this afternoon and presented with The King's Medal.

Later, Her Excellency Professor the Hon. Margaret Gardner was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon her appointment as Governor of Victoria.

Professor Glyn Davis was also received by His Majesty.
