    The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Canadian Grenadier Guards, today received the Honorary Colonel Richard Pound, the Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Paul Taillon, Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Gucciardo (Commanding Officer) and Regimental Sergeant Major Jesse Carlavaris.

    Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (King's, Lancashire and Border), received Brigadier Peter Rafferty upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier Frazer Laurence upon assuming the appointment.

    The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), received Lieutenant Colonel Dominic Coombes upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Fraser McLeman upon assuming the appointment.

    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

    The Queen was represented by Brigadier David Godsal (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Skelmersdale (formerly Lord in Waiting) which was held at St. Giles Church, Bradford on Tone, Somerset, this afternoon.

    A wreath was laid by The President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

    A wreath was laid on behalf of The Duke of Edinburgh by Captain Katherine Coulthard.

    A wreath was laid by The Prince of Wales.

    Wreaths were also laid by The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke of Sussex, The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex, The Princess Royal, The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Duchess of Sussex, The Countess of Wessex and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

    The Princess Royal afterwards took the salute at the March Past of Ex-Servicemen and Civilian Organisations on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.

    The Queen this evening attended a Service to mark the Centenary of the Signing of the Armistice at Westminster Abbey, London SW1, and was received at the Great West Gate by the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr. John Hall) and, at the Great West Door, by the Chapter and the Archbishop of Canterbury.

    The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Mrs. Elke Budenbender were present.

    Her Majesty and His Excellency laid fresh flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

    At the conclusion of the Service, The Queen bade farewell to The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Mrs. Elke Budenbender at the Great West Door.

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent were present at the Service.

    Mr. Jonathan Douglas-Hughes (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Mrs. Elke Budenbender and welcomed His Excellency and Mrs. Elke Budenbender on behalf of The Queen.

    The Baroness Rawlings (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of Solomon Islands and Lady Kabui and welcomed His Excellency and Lady Kabui on behalf of Her Majesty.
