    The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall later visited the development at Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall.

    His Royal Highness, Patron, The Prince's Countryside Fund, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Confident Rural Communities Network launch Reception at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, Cott Road, Lostwithiel, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

    The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Weaver Green Limited, Heron Valley Orchards, near Loddiswell, Devon.

    The Queen was represented by the Lady Susan Hussey (Lady in Waiting) at the Requiem Mass for the Reverend Prebendary William Scott (Extra Chaplain and formerly Sub-Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) which was held at St. Mary's, Bourne Street, London SW1, this morning.

    The Prince of Wales was represented by the Earl of Rosslyn.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright, RN.

    Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mrs. Diane Duke.
