Her Royal Highness this morning visited the British High Commission Office, 389 Bauddhaloka Mawatha, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.

The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, later laid a wreath at Jawatte Cemetery, Torrington Avenue.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Vajira Pillayar Kovil Hindu Temple, Galle Road.

The Princess Royal, President, the English-Speaking Union of the Commonwealth, subsequently visited the British Council, 49 Alfred House Gardens.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Mission to Seafarers, this afternoon visited the Mission to Seafarers Colombo, 26 Church Street.

The Princess Royal later visited Hatch Works, Sir Baron Jayathilake Mawatha, Colombo Fort.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Mission to Seafarers, subsequently attended a Key Supporters Reception at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, 368 Bauddhaloka Mawatha.

The Princess Royal this evening attended a Reception given by the British High Commissioner to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (His Excellency Mr. Andrew Patrick) at the Residence in Colombo to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Headingley Stadium, St. Michael's Lane, Leeds, where His Royal Highness, on behalf of The King, invested Mr. Robert Burrow and Mr. Kevin Sinfield with the Insignia of Commanders of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this morning attended a briefing by the Environment Agency on the recent impacts of flooding in Alney Island, Gloucester, and, having been received by Mr. Henry Robinson (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire), met residents, volunteers, and representatives from the Gloucestershire community affected.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards met residents, volunteers and representatives from the Gloucestershire community affected by recent flooding in Abbey Terrace, Tewkesbury.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Save the Children UK, later visited the Save the Children Sri Lanka Head Office, 18 Sinsapa Road, Colombo, to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Save the Children UK, afterwards visited a Save the Children Sri Lanka programme at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, Gnanartha Pradeepaya Road.

Her Royal Highness this evening called upon The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Mrs. Wickremesinghe at The President's House, Colombo.

The Princess Royal subsequently attended a Dinner given by The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Mrs. Wickremesinghe at The President's House to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.

The King presented The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Academic Excellence at Springwood High School, King's Lynn, to Simona Pilmane, Fatima Massawi and Zara Bek (the last of whom was unable to attend), who were introduced into His Majesty's presence by Mr. Andrew Johnson, the Headmaster.

Mrs. Jane Gardener (Headteacher of Sandringham and West Newton Church of England Primary Academy and Flitcham Church of England Primary Academy) was received by The King when His Majesty presented Bibles to Finlay Herbert and Zaid Shaikh for proficiency in Religious Instruction.

His Majesty presented The King's Gold Medal for Academic Excellence at King Edward VII Academy, King's Lynn, to Alina Ahsan and Thomas Lawlor (the latter of whom was unable to attend), who was introduced into His Majesty's presence by Ms. Barbara Backham, the Vice Principal.
