Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society's Balmoral Show, Balmoral Park. The Princess Royal, Grand Master, the Royal Victorian Order, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended Evensong in The Queen's Chapel of the Savoy, Savoy Hill, London WC2, followed by a Reception.

    The President of the Republic of Turkey and Mrs. Erdogan visited The Queen today. Mr. Paul Muldoon was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty presented him with The Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry. The Poet Laureate (Professor Dame Carol Ann Duffy) was present. The Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace. The Duke of York and The Earl and Countess of Wessex were present. Her Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty. The Bands of the Irish Guards and The Royal Logistic Corps played selections of music during the afternoon.
