    The Countess of Wessex today undertook engagements in Doha, Qatar.

    Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning called upon His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs).

    The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, later visited Qatar Charity, Energy City, Lusail.

    Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this afternoon visited the National Museum of Qatar, Museum Park Street.

    The Countess of Wessex afterwards planted a tree at the British Embassy to commemorate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

    The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, this afternoon held a Meeting with Ms. Ruth Marvel (Chief Executive Officer) via video link.

    The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Qatar and was received this evening upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, Doha, by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the State of Qatar (His Excellency Mr. Jonathan Wilks).

    Mr. Alexander Stonor is in attendance.

    Today being the Feast of the Epiphany, Choral Matins was held in The Queen's Chapel, St. James's Palace, when the customary offerings of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were made on behalf of The Queen by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Alexander Matheson of Matheson, Bt. and Captain David Lilley, RN (Gentlemen Ushers to Her Majesty).

    The Bishop of London (Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) was the Celebrant and presented the Offerings, assisted by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) and the Reverend Richard Bolton and the Reverend William Whitcombe (Priests in Ordinary).

    The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty in the Chapel.
