The Prince of Wales, Honorary Member, Royal Geographical Society, later received Major Levison Wood (Fellow). His Royal Highness, President, The Prince's Trust, this evening attended a Reception at the Savoy Hotel, Strand, London WC2, for the Trust's Invest in Futures and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London). The Duchess of Cornwall, President, Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House.

    His Excellency Mr. Choe Il was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the Court of St. James's. Mrs. Kim Yong Ae was also received by Her Majesty. His Excellency Mr. Abdesselam Aboudrar was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Morocco to the Court of St. James's. Mrs. Saloua Larhrissi was also received by Her Majesty. Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present. Mr. Julian Smith MP (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Earl of Airlie KT (Chancellor of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Lady Marion Fraser LT which was held in St. Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh, this morning. The Princess Royal was represented by the Lord Mackay of Clashfern KT.

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Kingston upon Hull and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire (the Hon. Mrs. Susan Cunliffe-Lister). Their Royal Highnesses today visited the Ferens Art Gallery, Queen Victoria Square, Carr Lane. The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Holy Trinity Parish Church, King Street. His Royal Highness, President, the Royal Shakespeare Company, afterwards visited the former Church of the Holy Apostles on the Great Thornton Estate, Walker Street, and attended a rehearsal of a production of "Hypocrite". The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Emmaus UK, this afternoon visited Emmaus Hull and East Riding, 32 Lockwood Street, and was received by Mr. Stephen Larard (Deputy Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire). Her Royal Highness, Patron, First Story, afterwards attended a creative writing workshop at the Deep, Tower Street, to celebrate First Story's partnership with Hull UK City of Culture 2017. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner at Lambeth Palace, London SE1, to mark the retirement of the Bishop of London (the Right Reverend Richard Chartres).
