Major General Christopher Ghika was received by The King today upon relinquishing his appointments as General Officer Commanding London District and Major General Commanding Household Division when His Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King this afternoon held a Reception for Global Leaders on Space Sustainability at Buckingham Palace, at which His Majesty unveiled the Sustainable Markets Initiative's Astra Carta seal.

The King afterwards attended the Climate Innovation Forum at Guildhall, London EC2, and was received by the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor (Alderman Nicholas Lyons), the Rt. Hon. Graham Stuart MP (Minister of State for Energy Security and Net Zero), the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Climate Action (Mr. Nicholas Henry) and the Mayor of London (the Rt. Hon. Sadiq Khan).

Later, Dr. Hugh Rayment-Pickard was received by The King upon assuming his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Professional Teaching Institute.

The Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The King and Queen this evening attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House, London SW1, to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of Elephant Family and were received by the Co-Founder and Trustee of Elephant Family (Mrs. Ruth Ganesh) and the Chairman of the British Asian Trust (the Lord Gadhia).

The Queen, Vice Patron, the Royal Commonwealth Society, this afternoon held an audience at Clarence House for The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Prince of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, today undertook the following engagements to launch the "Homewards" Programme.

His Royal Highness this morning visited East Belfast Mission, Skainos Centre, 239 Newtownards Roads, Belfast, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Fionnuala Jay-O'Boyle).

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited Tillydrone Community Campus, Hayton Road, Aberdeen, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor David Cameron, the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness later visited Verdon Recreation Centre, Verdon Street, Sheffield, and was received by Mr. Anthony Pedder (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire).

The Princess of Wales today officially opened Hope Street, 30-32 the Avenue, Southampton, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

His Royal Highness this morning visited Mosaic Clubhouse, 65 Effra Road, London SW2, and was received by Mr. Christopher Wellbelove (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited St. John's Church Hall, Surrey Road, Poole, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr. Angus Campbell).

His Royal Highness later visited Maindee Primary School, Rodney Road, Newport, Monmouthshire, and was received by Professor Simon Gibson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent).

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited a housing development at Hill Street Car Park, 17 Park Square, Newport.

The Princess of Wales, Patron, the National Portrait Gallery, this morning officially reopened the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin's Place, London WC2, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

His Majesty was present at The King's Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade this morning at which The King's Colour of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards was Trooped.

The King was accompanied by The Queen (Colonel, Grenadier Guards), The Duke of Kent (Colonel, Scots Guards), The Prince of Wales (Colonel, Welsh Guards), The Princess of Wales (Colonel, Irish Guards), The Princess Royal (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel, The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons) and The Duke of Edinburgh (Royal Honorary Colonel, 1st Battalion London Guards).

His Majesty was attended by Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Colonel, The Life Guards), Lieutenant General Sir James Bucknall (Colonel, Coldstream Guards) and Major General Christopher Ghika (Major General Commanding Household Division).

The Lord de Mauley (Master of the Horse), Colonel Toby Browne, Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Segrave, (Mounted Equerries in Waiting), Lieutenant Colonel Michael Vernon, Captain James Boggis-Rolfe (Dismounted Equerries in Waiting) and Colonel Mark Berry (The Life Guards, Silver Stick in Waiting) were in attendance.

Colonel Jeremy Bagshaw (Chief of Staff), Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Griffin (Silver Stick Adjutant) and the Household Division Staff were present.

The Procession was led by Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw, Grenadier Guards (Brigade Major Household Division).

The troops on Parade, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel John Livesey, Welsh Guards (Field Officer in Brigade Waiting), received The King with a Royal Salute.

The Queen, The Princess of Wales with Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and other Members of the Royal Family drove to Horse Guards Parade and witnessed The King's Birthday Parade.

On the conclusion of the Parade, His Majesty rode back to Buckingham Palace at the head of The King's Guard, preceded by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major Francesca Sykes, the Massed Mounted Bands of the Household Cavalry, the Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, under the command of Major William Charlesworth (The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), and the Massed Bands of the Guards Division.

On arrival at Buckingham Palace, The King's Guard entered the Forecourt and formed up opposite the Old Guard, the remaining Guards marching past His Majesty. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery ranked past The King.

His Majesty, from Buckingham Palace, witnessed a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force, led by Wing Commander Noel Rees, to mark the official celebration of The King's Birthday.

Royal Salutes were fired today by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Green Park and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Captain Alexander Offer.
