The King this morning visited the French Senate and was received by the President of the Senate (Monsieur Gérard Larcher) and the President of the National Assembly (Madame Yaël Braun-Pivet).

His Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour before moving into the Salle des Conférences and thence to the Senate Chamber.

The President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly addressed The King and His Majesty was graciously pleased to reply.

The Queen, accompanied by Madame Macron (wife of The President of the French Republic), this morning launched the Entente Littéraire Prize at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris.

The King and Queen afterwards visited Saint-Denis and were received by Madame Macron, the Prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis (Monsieur Jacques Witkowski) and the Mayor of Saint-Denis (Monsieur Mathieu Hanotin).

His Majesty, escorted by the Mayor, visited Rugby Installations and Her Majesty, accompanied by Madame Macron and escorted by Monsieur Shems El Khalfaoui (Deputy Mayor), viewed the table tennis area.

The King subsequently met representatives and beneficiaries of Association Objectif Emploi, before proceeding to the football pitch and meeting professional football players and representatives of football organisations.

The Queen, accompanied by Madame Macron, met representatives and beneficiaries of Maison des Femmes at Saint-Denis Town Hall, and subsequently re-joined The King to meet a group of professional footballers and young people.

Their Majesties proceeded on foot to the Basilica Cathedral of Saint-Denis and were received at the Maison d'Éducation de la Legion d'Honneur by the Head Teacher (Madame Sophie Maraux).

The King and Queen, accompanied by Madame Macron, afterwards visited le 19M and were received by the President of Chanel SAS and le 19M (Monsieur Bruno Pavlosky).

Their Majesties, escorted by the President of Chanel SAS and le 19M, Mrs. Leena Nair (Global Chief Executive Officer, Chanel) and Madame Camille Hutin (Director of la Galerie du 19M and Head of Communication, le 19M), viewed the embroidery section of Lesage and met embroiderers and students of the Chanel and The Prince's Foundation Métiers d'Art Fellowship Programme in partnership with le 19M.

The Queen viewed the Maison Lesage tweed making and weaving section.

The King subsequently visited la Galerie du 19M and met artisans from Maison Goossens.

Their Majesties later visited the Marché Aux Fleurs and, having been received by the Mayor of Paris (Madame Anne Hidalgo) and Monsieur Emmanuel Gregoire (First Deputy Mayor of Paris), proceeded on foot through the Market, meeting florists and representatives of local organisations, before signing the Town Hall Parchment.

The King and Queen subsequently proceeded on foot, via Rue de la Cité, to Notre Dame Cathedral and were received at the Cathedral by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron, the Archbishop of Paris (the Most Reverend Laurent Ulrich) and the Special Representative overseeing the reconstruction of Notre Dame following the fire in 2019 (Monsieur Philippe Jost).

Their Majesties, accompanied by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron, met firefighters involved in the emergency response and representatives of the Cathedral Restoration Team, and viewed the exterior construction site.

The King, accompanied by The President of the French Republic, afterwards attended a Reception for the Climate and Nature Finance Mobilisation Forum at Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle and was received by Madame Agnès Pannier-Runacher (French Minister for Energy Transition) and the Rt. Hon. Claire Coutinho MP (Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero).

His Majesty subsequently officially re-opened the renovated British Embassy, 35 rue du Faubourg St. Honoré, Paris.

The King later received Monsieur Bernard Arnault (Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, LVMH).

The King and Queen were received at the Élysée Palace this evening by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron.

The King and Queen left Farnborough Airport, Hampshire, this morning for the State Visit to France.

Their Majesties were received at the Airport by the Lord Parker of Minsmere (Lord Chamberlain) and His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

The King and Queen this afternoon arrived at Paris-Orly Airport and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings), the Ambassador from the French Republic to the Court of St. James's (Mrs. Hélène Duchêne) and the Prime Minister of the French Republic (Madame Élisabeth Borne).

The King and Queen drove to the Arc de Triomphe and were received by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron.

Their Majesties were received with a Royal Salute and The King inspected the Guard of Honour.

The King and The President of the French Republic laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and rekindled the Eternal Flame, and subsequently signed the Livre d'Or.

His Majesty and The President, with Her Majesty and Madame Macron, afterwards drove in a ceremonial procession to the Élysée Palace, accompanied by a mounted escort of the Republican Guard.

The King, accompanied by The President of the French Republic, later walked to the Residence of His Majesty's Ambassador, where The King and The President planted a tree gifted by The President.

The King and Queen were entertained this evening at a State Banquet given by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron at the Palace of Versailles.

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.

Mr. Jean-Christophe Gray, Mr. Lee Thompson, Mr. David Hunt and Mr. Louis Reynolds were in attendance.

The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held a Meeting at Windsor Castle.

Balmoral Castle

The King this morning opened the MacRobert Farming and Rural Skills Centre, Dumfries House Estate, Cumnock, Ayrshire, and was received by the Education Director of The Prince's Foundation (Ms. Jacqueline Farrell).

His Majesty viewed the classrooms and met students and members of staff.

The King and Queen this afternoon attended St. Leger Stakes Day at Doncaster Racecourse, St. Leger Way, Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Balmoral Castle

The King this morning visited Broke Not Broken at the Muirs, Kinross, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross (Mr. Stephen Leckie), the Founder and Trustee of Broke Not Broken (Ms. Clare Slight) and Miss Annie McCormack (Chairman).

His Majesty, escorted by the Chairman, viewed the food bank store, the Charity's vegetable garden and met volunteers and members of staff, before visiting an art exhibition at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Hall.

The King afterwards visited Kinross Day Centre, 64 High Street, Kinross, to mark its Fortieth Anniversary and was received by the Chairman of Trustees (the Reverend Alan Reid) and Mrs. Agnes Cook (Manager).

His Majesty met volunteers and members of the local community who use the Centre, and beneficiaries and staff of Rachel House, Children's Hospices across Scotland.

The King this afternoon attended a Reception at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire, to mark the Fifteenth Anniversary of the opening of Dumfries House and Estate to the public.

The King held a Council at Dumfries House at 5.30 p.m..

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer) and the Rt. Hon. Grant Shapps MP.

The Rt. Hon. Grant Shapps MP took the Oath of Office and kissed hands upon appointment as Secretary of State for Defence.

The Rt. Hon. Claire Coutinho MP took the Oath of Office, kissed hands upon appointment and received the Seals of Office as Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero.

Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

The King this morning visited Scalan Seminary and Mills, Ballindalloch, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mr. Andrew Simpson), the Acting Co-Secretary of Scalan Association (Mrs. Patricia Nisbet) and Mr. David Toovey (Treasurer).

His Majesty viewed the North and South Mills and received a briefing on the history of the Mills and an overview of the restoration project and the wider estate context by Mr. Mark Johnston (Head Ranger, Glenlivet Estate), Mr. Ian Innes (Builder, Project Restoration Team) and Mr. Gordon McGillivray (local historian), before meeting volunteers and representatives of organisations involved with the conservation work and subsequently, having been received by the Acting Chairman of Scalan Association (Father Colin Stewart), touring the Seminary.

The King later visited Tomintoul and Glenlivet Discovery Centre and Museum, 43 the Square, Tomintoul, Ballindalloch, and was received by the Chairman of Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust (Mrs. Elizabeth Smith).

His Majesty, escorted by the Chairman, toured the Centre and Museum and met members of staff, before viewing the Tomintoul Coat.

Afterwards, The King proceeded on foot to Tomintoul Village Store, meeting local shopkeepers and members of the community.

His Majesty, having been received by Brigadier Hugh Monro (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire), subsequently visited the pupils of Tomintoul Primary School, followed by a visit to a local affordable housing project at Auld School Close, Tomintoul.

The King this evening attended Beating Retreat by Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland at Balmoral Castle and subsequently attended a Reception given by the Guard Commander (Major Robert Weir).

The King was represented by the Lord Bridges (former Solicitor to The late Queen) at the Service of Thanksgiving for Sir Matthew Farrer (former Solicitor to The late Queen) which was held in St. Magnus-the-Martyr, Lower Thames Street, London EC3, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal was represented by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
