Dame Shân Legge-Bourke (lately Lady in Waiting to Her Royal Highness) at the Memorial Service for Sir David Brewer KG (formerly Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London and Lord Mayor of London) which was held at Mansion House, Walbrook, London EC4, this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace

Dr. Timothy Evans was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Apothecary to Queen Elizabeth II and Apothecary to the Royal Household, when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr. Stuart Anderson MP (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The King and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which His Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Queen, representing The King, Lord of Mann, having been received by the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man (Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer), this afternoon conferred City status on the Borough of Douglas at Douglas Borough Council, Town Hall, Ridgeway Street, Douglas, and subsequently met members of the local community.

Her Majesty later attended a Reception given by the Lieutenant Governor at Government House, Onchan.

The Queen subsequently received Trustees of the Joanna Simpson Foundation at Government House.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Andreas Kakouris at 13 St. James's Square, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.
