His Majesty was represented by Mrs. Jane MacLeod (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute) at the Funeral of Mr. Kenneth MacKinnon (formerly Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute) which was held at Warriston Crematorium, Edinburgh, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs. Malcolm Innes.

The Princess Royal, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Butchers, this evening attended the Annual City Food and Drink Lecture at Guildhall, London EC2.

The Princess Royal this morning visited St. Hilaire Avenue, Coleford, to mark the town's twinning with Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez in France and was received by Mr. Roger Deeks (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited AccXel Construction Skills Accelerator Centre, Whimsey Industrial Estate, Steam Mills Road, Cinderford, and was received by Mrs. Diane Savory (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning received Dame Clare Moriarty (Chief Executive Officer).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Sailors' Children's Society, received Ms. Deanne Thomas upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Ms. Natasha Barley upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, later visited HM Prison Pentonville, Caledonian Road, London N7, and was received by Mr. Paul Herbage (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this afternoon attended a Reception at HM Prison Pentonville.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this morning visited Budworth Sailing Club, Warrington Road, Great Budworth, on the occasion of their Seventy Fifth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Young Enterprise UK Start-Up National Final at the University of Salford Business School, the Crescent, Salford, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Woolf Institute, this evening held a Twenty Fifth Anniversary Dinner at St. James's Palace.

The King today broke ground on the new Whittle Laboratory, 1 JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge, which aims to serve as the leading global public-private sector hub focused on rapidly progressing the development of zero carbon flight systems and technologies. He was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence), The Lord-Lieutenant Cadet (Cadet Olivia Corner), the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire (Dr. Bharatkumar Khetani), the Secretary of State for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (The Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP), Minister of State, Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (Mr. George Freeman MP), the Ambassador from the United Arab Emirates (His Excellency Mr. Mansoor Abulhoul), the High Commissioner for the Republic of Rwanda (His Excellency Mr. Johnston Busingye), Chair of Cambridgeshire County Council (Councillor Stephen Ferguson), the Mayor of Cambridge (Councillor Mark Ashton), the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge (Dr. Anthony Freeling) and the Vice-Chancellor Elect of the University of Cambridge (Professor Deborah Prentice). His Majesty, escorted by the Director of the Whittle Laboratory (Professor Robert Miller) toured the High-Speed Laboratory to view some of the latest aviation technologies and models for sustainable flight. The King subsequently attended a roundtable and met public, private and academic leaders from the aviation and energy sectors, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A) and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, and The Princess of Wales gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Coronation of The King and Queen.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Central Band of The Royal Air Force played selections of music during the afternoon.

Afterwards Their Majesties were present at the BBC Concert at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Coronation of The King and Queen at which The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by Prince George of Wales and Princess Charlotte of Wales, The Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank and Mr. Jack Brooksbank, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh with The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and Earl of Wessex, Mr. Peter Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tindall, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent were present.

The Coronation of The King and Queen took place in Westminster Abbey today.

Their Majesties left Buckingham Palace at 10.20 o'clock this morning and proceeded in State to the Abbey, escorted by a Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry, with Standard, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Armitage (The Life Guards).

The Archbishop of Canterbury conducted the Service.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard, The King's Body Guard for Scotland (the Royal Company of Archers) and The King's Bargemaster and Watermen were on duty.

The King and Queen returned to the Palace at 1.08 o'clock.

Combined Guards of Honour of the three Services were mounted outside the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace.

Their Majesties this afternoon, from Buckingham Palace, witnessed a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Air Force.

Members of Foreign Royal Families, Heads of State and Representatives from the Commonwealth were received and welcomed to the United Kingdom today on behalf of The King.
