The Duchess of Gloucester opens new nursery school in London

The Duchess of Gloucester has been meeting nursery and primary pupils as she opens their new school building in London.

The Duchess was invited to St Anne's and Avondale Park Nursery School to open their new nursery building for 100 children in the Kensington and Chelsea area of London.

During her visit, The Duchess was taken on a tour of the nursery building, and was able to meet and speak with children from lots of different classes. HRH officially opened the new building by unveiling a plaque, with the help of some students.

Katy Blackler, Executive Headteacher, St Anne’s and Avondale Park Nursery School, said: “We are thrilled that The Duchess of Gloucester was able to officially open our stunning new building and outside learning environment today.
