The King, Patron, the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society, this morning attended an Event at Ballindalloch Castle to mark the publication of the One Hundred and Fiftieth edition of the Society's Herd Book and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mr. Andrew Simpson), the Chief Executive Officer of the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society (Mr. Robert Gilchrist) and the Owners of Ballindalloch Castle (Mr. and Mrs. Guy McPherson Grant).
His Majesty, escorted by the President of the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society (Mr. Matthew Currie) and Ballindalloch Farm Manager (Mr. David Johnstone), walked to the cattle field and inspected the Ballindalloch Aberdeen-Angus Herd, before exiting the field through the King Charles Gate and meeting members of the Society and representatives of local businesses and organisations.

The King today visited Dingwall to mark its Eight Hundredth Anniversary as a Royal Burgh and was received at Cromarty Memorial Car Park by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs. Joanie Whiteford).
His Majesty met representatives of Dingwall Mart, winners of The King's Award for Voluntary Service and recipients of The King's Award for Enterprise, before viewing local business stalls and meeting representatives from Dingwall Fire Brigade Service and Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team.
The King afterwards visited Dingwall Town Hall and, escorted by the Chairman of Dingwall Community Council (Mr. Andrew MacIvor), met representatives of community groups, before proceeding on to the Town Hall Balcony and viewing a demonstration of Highland dance and a performance by young musicians from Fèis Rois.
