The King, Royal Founding Patron, The King's Trust, this morning held a Youth Opportunity Summit at Buckingham Palace.

The Hon. Louise Arbour was received in audience by His Majesty this afternoon upon her appointment as Governor-General of Canada.

Mr. Paul Brummell was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Mauritius.

Dr. Adriana Brummell was also received by His Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon their appointment as His Majesty's Ambassadors: Mr. Mark Bryson-Richardson (the Arab Republic of Egypt), Ms. Sarah Hulton (the Republic of the Philippines and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Palau), Mr. Charles King (the Federal Republic of Somalia) and Ms. Joanne Lomas (the Republic of Estonia).

Ms. Nima Elbagir, Mr. Anthony Hulton, Ms. Anna Grove and Mr. Christopher Finucane were also received by His Majesty.

The President of the Republic of Ghana visited The King.

The King held a Council at 4.30 p.m..

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Campbell MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. David Lammy MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice), the Baroness Smith of Basildon (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal) and the Baroness Smith of Malvern (Minister for Skills and Minister for Women and Equalities).

The Lord Arthurson was sworn in as a member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Campbell MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

The Queen, Patron, the National Literacy Trust, and Patron, the Big Lunch, having been received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), today visited the British Library, Euston Road, London NW1, to mark the National Year of Reading, and subsequently joined a Big Lunch taking place in the British Library Piazza.

Her Majesty this afternoon held a Tea Party at Clarence House for children supported by the Dreams and Wishes charity.

The King and Queen were represented by the Marquess of Salisbury KG at the Service of Celebration for Lady Hobson (philanthropist) which was held at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2, today.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended the Education World Forum at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Chaiman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, afterwards attended a Meeting with the Hon. Paul Calandra (Minister of Education of Ontario) at Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London SW1.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Northern Ballet, this evening attended a performance of "Gentleman Jack" at Sadler's Wells Theatre, Rosebery Avenue, London EC1.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, and, having been received upon arrival at Geneva Airport, Switzerland, by Mr. Jamie Hamill (Deputy Head of Mission, United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation and other organisations in Geneva), undertook engagements in Geneva.

Her Royal Highness visited the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, Avenue de la Paix.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this afternoon attended 'the Value of Vision: the Roadmap to the Global Summit for Eye Health' event at the Headquarters of the World Health Organisation in Geneva, Avenue Appia.

Her Royal Highness later visited the Commonwealth Small States Office, Rue du Pré-de-la-Bichette.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception in recognition of Multilateralism and International Law at the Residence and was received by Mr. Kumar Iyer (United Kingdom Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation and other organisations in Geneva).

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, later held a Dinner.

Mr. Alexander Stonor is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency the Rt. Hon. Mary Simon was received in audience by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing her appointment as Governor-General of Canada.

Mr. Whit Fraser was also received by His Majesty.

The King and Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines Collingwood and the Band of the Coldstream Guards played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Queen this afternoon received Sir Francis Brooke, Bt. (The King's Representative at Ascot and Chairman of Ascot Authority (Holdings) Limited).

Her Majesty, Patron, Medical Detection Dogs, later held a Reception at Clarence House to mark the launch of the Electronic Nose (E-Nose) for use in the detection of cancer.

Government House, Bermuda

The President of the United States of America and Mrs. Trump this morning bade farewell to The King and Queen at the White House, Washington D.C., United States of America.

Their Majesties drove to Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, and were received by Major General Antoinette Gant (Arlington National Cemetery Military Representative, United States Army) and Ambassador Monica Crowley (Chief of Protocol of the United States).

The King laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and The Queen laid a posy.

Their Majesties subsequently walked to the Canadian Cross of Sacrifice, were received by Rear Admiral Kristjan Monaghan (Canadian Defence Attaché to the United States) and Air Vice Marshal Christopher Mullen (United Kingdom Defence Attaché to the United States) where The King and Queen each met Canadian Service personnel, a United States Army veteran of the Second World War, and Service personnel representing the Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, United States and New Zealand Alliance.

Their Majesties this afternoon visited Front Royal, Warren County, Virginia, and were received in the Town Square by the Governor of Virginia (Ms. Abigail Spanberger) and Ms. Lori Athey Cockrell (Mayor of Front Royal).

The King and Queen met Little League Baseball Players before viewing the Main Street Parade and joining the "Block Party", meeting food and drink vendors.

His Majesty met First Responders and veterans, and Future Farmers of America, whilst Her Majesty met representatives of domestic abuse organisations and Scout groups.

The King afterwards visited Shenandoah National Park and was received at Dickey Ridge Visitor Center by the Superintendent of the Park (Mr. Tracy Stakely) and Ms. Carly Adams (Chief of Staff).

His Majesty toured the Park, witnessing a short swearing in ceremony for a group of Junior Rangers before meeting members of the Monacan Indian Nation and subsequently receiving an overview of the new United Kingdom-United States Nature Compass Agreement.

The Queen afterwards visited Smitten Farm, Middleburg, and was received by Mr. James Roscoe (Deputy Head of Mission) and Ms. Ann Backer (Owner).

The King later departed Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, for Bermuda upon the conclusion of the State Visit and was received this evening upon arrival at L. F. Wade International Airport by the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda (His Excellency Mr. Andrew Murdoch) and the Hon. David Burt (Premier of Bermuda).

The Queen departed Dulles International Airport for the United Kingdom.

His Excellency the Hon. Jay Weatherill was received in audience by The King this afternoon upon his appointment as High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia in London.

Ms. Melissa Bailey was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Brereton Horne was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as High Commissioner for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in London.

Mrs. Horne was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency the Hon. William Blair was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as High Commissioner for Canada in London.

The President of Ukraine visited The King.

The King, Royal Founding Patron, The King's Foundation, having been received at the Garrison Chapel, Chelsea Barracks, 8 Garrison Square, London SW1, by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and The President of the Republic of Finland and Mrs. Suzanne Innes-Stubb, visited the 'New Wood: Building a bio-based future' Exhibition, a collaboration between The King's Foundation, the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and the Finnish Forest Association.

His Majesty, with Their Excellencies, viewed the displays and met exhibitors.

Later, The President of the Republic of Finland visited The King.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The Queen, Patron, UK Harvest, this morning received Ms. Yvonne Thomson upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive Officer.

Her Majesty Chancellor, University of Aberdeen, today received Professor George Boyne upon relinquishing his appointment as Principal and Vice-Chancellor and Professor Peter Edwards upon assuming the appointment.

The Queen this afternoon received representatives of the Dames Commander Society.

The King was represented by Vice Admiral Sir Anthony Johnstone-Burt (Master of the Household) at the Memorial Service for Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst (former First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff) which was held at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, this morning.

The Princess Royal was represented by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr. Nicolas Adamson.

Mr. Mark Bevan (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The King.

The King, Royal Founding Patron, The King's Trust, this afternoon visited Aviva Studios, Water Street, Manchester, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Factory International (Ms. Moira Sinclair) and the Lord Mayor of Manchester (Councillor Carmine Grimshaw).

His Majesty met representatives of The King's Trust and Factory International, as well as young people and trainees representing a range of creative industries.

The King subsequently met members of the public outside Aviva Studios.

His Majesty afterwards attended the launch of 'Circularity in Practice' at the Renew Hub, Nash Road, Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, and was received by the Chairman of the Circularity in Practice Initiative (Miss Michelle Pinggera), the Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK (Mr. John Scanlon), the Mayor of Greater Manchester (Mr. Andrew Burnham) and the Mayor of Trafford (Councillor Jane Brophy).

The King viewed donated and salvaged items awaiting refurbishment, before meeting technicians and volunteers working at specialist 'repair pods'.

His Majesty subsequently met representatives of small and medium sized enterprises participating in a knowledge session.

The King later visited Greencore Warrington, 20 Grosvenor Grange, Woolston, Warrington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond), the Chief Executive Officer of Greencore Group plc (Mr. Dalton Philips), the Director of Alliance Food Sourcing (Ms. Nicola Robinson) and the Mayor of Warrington (Councillor Mo Hussain).

His Majesty toured the factory, viewing production lines and packaged meals, before meeting members of staff and apprentice engineers.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Mark Carney (Prime Minister of Canada) had an audience of The King at Buckingham Palace.

The King this morning received Flight Lieutenant Colin Bell who presented a copy of his book to His Majesty when The King presented him with the citation to his Distinguished Flying Cross which was awarded to him by King George VI in 1945.

His Majesty, Patron, Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, this afternoon received Field Marshal the Lord Richards of Herstmonceux (Grand President), Major General "Mitch" Mitchell (Deputy Grand President) and Major David Thompson (Secretary General).

The King, Founder, the King Charles III Charitable Fund, received Trustees of the Fund and representatives from Waitrose and Partners.

The King received a delegation of seven elected representatives of First Nations signatories to Treaty Number Six, the 1876 treaty between the Crown and First Nations in modern-day Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada.

Ms. Corin Robertson was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon her appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to Japan.

Mr. James Robertson was also received by His Majesty.

The King this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace for members of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom, in advance of the Nigerian State Visit.

The Queen, Joint Patron, the Jockey Club, today attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr. Edward Gillespie).

The Queen this afternoon gave a Reception at Clarence House for the charity Surviving Economic Abuse.

The King this morning attended a Reception at Fortnum and Mason, 181 Piccadilly, London W1, to mark the Second Anniversary of the Coronation Food Project and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Founder of the Coronation Food Project (the Baroness Casey of Blackstock), Dame Martina Milburn (Executive Chairman) and the Chief Executive Officer of Fortnum and Mason (Mr. Tom Athron).

His Majesty, accompanied by the Founder and the Executive Chairman, met senior leaders and representatives from Alliance Food Sourcing, supporters of the Coronation Food Project Hubs and apprentice chefs.

The Hon. Louise Imbeault was received in audience by The King this afternoon upon her appointment as Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick.

Her Majesty this afternoon attended a Meeting at St. Catherine's School with members of the local community who work for domestic abuse charities in Surrey.

The Queen, Patron, Royal School of Needlework, later received Dr. Susan Kay-Williams upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive and Ms. Rhian Harris upon assuming the appointment.
