His Majesty gave a European Diplomatic Reception at Windsor Castle this evening.

The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, this afternoon visited St. Mungo Community Housing Association in South London and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Aichatou Sanni Aoudou at 27 Elvaston Place, London SW7, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the Gabonese Republic in London.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning participated in a Panel Discussion related to the "Homewards" programme at London Tech Week, Kensington Olympia, London W14.

Palace Of Holyroodhouse

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this afternoon visited Raigmore Hospital Maternity Services at Raigmore Hospital, Old Perth Road, Inverness, and was received by Mrs. Susan Swift (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness).

Her Royal Highness later visited Black Isle Cares at Black Isle Leisure Centre, Deans Road, Fortrose, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs. Joanie Whiteford).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Eric Liddell Community, subsequently held a Reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr. Periasamy Kumaran was received by The King this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of India in London.

Mrs. Kumaran was also received by His Majesty.

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, Grenadier Guards, and Company Commander, The King's Company, Grenadier Guards, and The Queen, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, later presented new Colours to 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards at Buckingham Palace.

Having been received upon arrival by the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel Grenadier Guards (Major General James Bowder), Their Majesties were received on Parade with a Royal Salute.

The King and Queen then inspected the Regiment.

After the Consecration and Presentation of the new Colours, The King was graciously pleased to address the Regiment and the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel replied.

The Regiment subsequently marched past The King and Queen.

Their Majesties afterwards met members of the Regiment and their families.

Earlier, The Queen, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, viewed the old Colours being marched off.

Mr. Angus Lapsley was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as Permanent Representative to the United Kingdom's Delegation to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

Ms. Francesca Cortini was also received by His Majesty.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The King, Royal Founding Patron, the British Asian Trust, this evening attended a Reception at the Peninsula Hotel, Grosvenor Place Road, London SW1, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the British Asian Trust (the Lord Gadhia) and Mr. Hitan Mehta (Chief Executive).

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The King was represented by Sir Francis Brooke, Bt. (His Majesty's Representative at Ascot) at the Celebration for the Life of Sir Johnny Weatherby (formerly Her late Majesty's Representative at Ascot) which took place at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, Lincoln's Inn, London WC2, this evening.

The Queen was represented by the Hon. Lady Brooke.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Miss Helen Asprey.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were represented by Mrs. Angus Galletley.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs. William Nunneley.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon received Mr. Geraint Richards at Windsor Castle upon relinquishing his appointment as High Sheriff of Cornwall.

His Royal Highness, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this afternoon received Mr. Jason Knauf (Chief Executive) at Windsor Castle.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Foundation, this morning held a Briefing at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, this evening held a Dinner on board the ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA, Ocean Drive, Leith, Edinburgh, to celebrate the Seventieth Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this afternoon unveiled a Memorial at Brookwood Military Cemetery, Dawney Hill, Brookwood, Woking, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr. Michael More-Molyneux).

Her Royal Highness, President, GB Olympians Association, later attended a Fiftieth Anniversary Reception for the 1976 Olympic Games at the Lansdowne Club, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, London W1, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Engineers, this evening presented the Annual Awards at Chartered Accountants' Hall, 1 Moorgate Place, London EC2.

His Royal Highness, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, this afternoon officially opened the Feoffee Rise Almshouses, Feoffee Rise, Brook Street, Ottery St. Mary, and was received by Mrs. Mary Quicke (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, afterwards visited the Budleigh Salterton Almshouses, East Budleigh Road, Budleigh Salterton, and was received by Mr Lee Howell (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club, East Budleigh Road, Budleigh Salterton, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Shaw upon assuming his appointment as Commanding Officer 1st Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Ian McGuire, upon assuming his appointment as Commanding Officer 5th Battalion.

Colonel James Denny (Regimental Secretary) was present.
