His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, to celebrate the Seventieth Anniversary of the ascent of Kanchenjunga by the 1955 British team.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards attended a Yeomanry Trust Dinner at St. James's Palace.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Two Moors Festival, this evening attended the Twenty Fifth Anniversary Dinner at Powderham Castle, Kenton, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).
