Buckingham Palace

The King, Royal Founding Patron, The King's Trust, this afternoon visited Aviva Studios, Water Street, Manchester, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Factory International (Ms. Moira Sinclair) and the Lord Mayor of Manchester (Councillor Carmine Grimshaw).

His Majesty met representatives of The King's Trust and Factory International, as well as young people and trainees representing a range of creative industries.

The King subsequently met members of the public outside Aviva Studios.

His Majesty afterwards attended the launch of 'Circularity in Practice' at the Renew Hub, Nash Road, Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, and was received by the Chairman of the Circularity in Practice Initiative (Miss Michelle Pinggera), the Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK (Mr. John Scanlon), the Mayor of Greater Manchester (Mr. Andrew Burnham) and the Mayor of Trafford (Councillor Jane Brophy).

The King viewed donated and salvaged items awaiting refurbishment, before meeting technicians and volunteers working at specialist 'repair pods'.

His Majesty subsequently met representatives of small and medium sized enterprises participating in a knowledge session.

The King later visited Greencore Warrington, 20 Grosvenor Grange, Woolston, Warrington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond), the Chief Executive Officer of Greencore Group plc (Mr. Dalton Philips), the Director of Alliance Food Sourcing (Ms. Nicola Robinson) and the Mayor of Warrington (Councillor Mo Hussain).

His Majesty toured the factory, viewing production lines and packaged meals, before meeting members of staff and apprentice engineers.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Mark Carney (Prime Minister of Canada) had an audience of The King at Buckingham Palace.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Foundation, this morning chaired a Trustees' Meeting at Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, National Youth Jazz Orchestra, this evening attended a Performance to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Orchestra at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, 47 Frith Street, London W1.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, National Youth Jazz Orchestra, later attended a Reception at Alfie's Soho Live Music Club, 49 Greek Street, London W1.

Buckingham Palace

The Lord Leong (Lord in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Finland and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner for the Trustees at the Royal Over-Seas League, Over-Seas House, Park Place, St. James's Street, London SW1.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, this afternoon attended the International Match between Wales and Italy at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, and was received by Dr. Huw Jenkins (Deputy Lieutenant of South Glamorgan).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, this evening met injured players supported by the Trust.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Ireland and Scotland at Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road, Dublin, and was received by His Majesty's Ambassador to Ireland (Her Excellency Mrs. Kara Owen).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Royal Academy of Music, this afternoon visited the Junior Academy, Marylebone Road, London NW1.

Windsor Castle

The King this morning held a Reception for those who have attended the Partnership on Climate and Nature Summit organised by the Sustainable Markets Initiative.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this morning received Mr. William Bax (Secretary of the Duchy of Cornwall) and Mr. Hugo van Vredenburch (Lord Warden of the Stannaries) at Windsor Castle.

St. James's Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.
