Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mr. James Ogilvy at the Service of Thanksgiving for Mrs. Peter Afia (Lady in Waiting to Her Royal Highness) which was held at St. Andrew's Church, Shifnal, Shropshire, this afternoon.

The King this afternoon received leaders from the international insurance industry which have been convened by the Sustainable Markets Initiative.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at RIOgaleão International Airport, Rio de Janeiro, and was received upon arrival by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil (Her Excellency Stephanie Jane Al-Qaq).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Sugar Loaf Mountain, Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar, Rio de Janeiro, when the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro presented to The Prince of Wales the keys of the City.

The Prince of Wales, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this afternoon joined young environmentalists participating in the Generation Earthshot Programme at Maracanã Stadium, Maracan, Rio de Janeiro.

His Royal Highness subsequently joined community football clubs organised by Terra Football Club at Maracanã Stadium and was received by Mr. Claudio Castro (Governor of Rio de Janeiro).

The Prince of Wales later visited First Responders on Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Waddington, this morning received Group Captain Dominic Holland upon relinquishing his appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain Leanne Warner upon assuming the appointment.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Defence Medical Welfare Service, this evening attended a Reception at Edinburgh Castle.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this morning visited Appledore Lifeboat Station, Hillcliff Terrace, Irsha Street, Appledore, to commemorate the Station's Two Hundredth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Brazil.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, this morning opened the Dr. Joyce Grainger Learning Centre, 11 Queen Street, Edinburgh, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, afterwards attended a Men's Team Run at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.

Windsor Castle

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, The Toronto Scottish Regiment (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's Own), this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel Ann Lockhart (Commanding Officer), Colonel Harold Latner (Honorary Lieutenant Colonel), Chief Warrant Officer Glenn Fraser (Regimental Sergeant Major) and Brigadier General Julian Chapman (Chairman of the Regimental Senate) who presented a Coronation gift to His Majesty on behalf of the wider Regiment.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, this afternoon visited 2nd Battalion at Glencorse Barracks, Milton Bridge, Penicuik, Midlothian.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Moredun Foundation, afterwards attended a Conference at Moredun Research Institute, Pentlands Science Park, Bush Loan, Penicuik, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian (Mrs. Sarah Barron).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Unicorn Preservation Society, this evening attended a Reception at the Royal Scots Club, 29-31 Abercromby Place, Edinburgh, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning visited BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (Neasden Temple), Pramukh Swami Road, Neasden, London NW10, to celebrate the Temple's Thirtieth Anniversary and were received by Miss Mei Sim Lai (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), the Chairman of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha United Kingdom (Mr. Jitu Patel) and Councillor Ryan Hack (Mayor of the London Borough of Brent).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Ms. Rena Amin (Head of External Relations for BAPS)), viewed flower petals being offered to the sacred image of Bhagwan Swaminarayan before observing the ceremonial pouring of water over a deity's image by the Head Priest (Pujya Yogvivekdas Swami).

The King and Queen subsequently viewed a model of the BAPS Mandir under construction in Paris, accompanied by Mr. Sanjay Kara (Chief Executive Officer, BAPS Paris Mandir Project), before meeting representatives from community and social impact initiatives supported by the Temple.

Their Majesties afterwards viewed schoolchildren performing a Vedic prayer for world peace before meeting members of the local community.

The King and Queen this evening gave a Reception at Windsor Castle in honour of The Duke of Kent's Ninetieth Birthday.

The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke of Gloucester, Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were present.

The Queen, Commodore-in-Chief, Naval Chaplaincy Service, this afternoon received the Venerable Andrew Hillier upon relinquishing his appointment as Chaplain of the Fleet and the Reverend Dr. Mark Davidson upon assuming the appointment.
