Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Dr. Salih Hussein Ali Al Tamimi was received in audience by The King this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Iraq to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Khawlah Abbas Muttair was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Edmund Hinkson was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for Barbados in London.

Mrs. Smith-Hinkson was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King received representatives from the fashion industry who have been convened by the Sustainable Markets Initiative.

His Majesty this evening attended the conclusion of the Sustainable Markets Initiative Exhibition and Reception at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey.

The Prince and Princess of Wales this morning visited Borough Market, London SE1, and were received by Colonel Simon Duckworth (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Southwark Brewing Company, 46 Druid Street, London SE1.

The Prince and Princess of Wales afterwards walked along Bermondsey Beer Mile and visited Fabal Beer Hall, 88 Druid Street, London SE1.

Their Royal Highnesses later embarked in a Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeboat and travelled upstream to visit Tower Lifeboat Station.

The Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards attended a Meeting on Women, Peace and Security at United Nations Women, 220 East 42nd Street.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting on conflict-related sexual violence, at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations, One Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza.

The Duchess of Edinburgh later received Ambassador Melanne Verveer (Executive Director, Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security) at the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations.

Her Royal Highness subsequently met Sudanese Women Leaders at the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations.

The Duchess of Edinburgh later met women peacebuilders at the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations.

Her Royal Highness this evening visited the "When Silence Breaks. Accountability for Sexual Violence in Conflict" photograph exhibition at the United Nations Headquarters.

The Duchess of Edinburgh later departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, for the United Kingdom.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Commodore, No 501 (County of Gloucester) Logistics Support Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force, today attended the Air Space Combat Power Visit at Royal Air Force Brize Norton and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs. Marjorie Glasgow).

Buckingham Palace

The King this morning received Flight Lieutenant Colin Bell who presented a copy of his book to His Majesty when The King presented him with the citation to his Distinguished Flying Cross which was awarded to him by King George VI in 1945.

His Majesty, Patron, Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, this afternoon received Field Marshal the Lord Richards of Herstmonceux (Grand President), Major General "Mitch" Mitchell (Deputy Grand President) and Major David Thompson (Secretary General).

The King, Founder, the King Charles III Charitable Fund, received Trustees of the Fund and representatives from Waitrose and Partners.

The King received a delegation of seven elected representatives of First Nations signatories to Treaty Number Six, the 1876 treaty between the Crown and First Nations in modern-day Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada.

Ms. Corin Robertson was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon her appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to Japan.

Mr. James Robertson was also received by His Majesty.

The King this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace for members of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom, in advance of the Nigerian State Visit.
