The King this morning visited Campbeltown Farmers' Market, Campbeltown Heritage Centre, Big Kiln Street, Campbeltown, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod) and the Provost of Argyll and Bute (Provost Douglas Philand).
His Majesty, escorted by Mr. Andrew Gemmill (Organiser of Campbeltown Farmers' Market), met stallholders before meeting representatives from the Young Farmers, the National Farmers Union Scotland, Trustees of the Centre and farmers supported by the Royal Countryside Fund.
