The Duke of Gloucester this morning officially opened the garden at the Finding Your Feet Charity Hub, St. James House, 25 St. James Street, Paisley, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Colonel Peter McCarthy).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Sight Scotland, afterwards visited the Hawkhead Centre, 198 Hawkhead Road, Paisley.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon presented The King’s Award for Innovation to Terumo Aortic, Newmains Avenue, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Chailey Heritage Foundation, also representing The King and Queen, was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for Mrs. Verena Hanbury (formerly President) which was held at Chelsea Old Church, 64 Cheyne Walk, London SW3, this afternoon.

Balmoral Castle

The King this morning visited Peterhead Port Authority, West Pier, Peterhead, was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr. Alexander Manson), the Convenor, Peterhead Port Authority (Mr. James Buchan), Mr. Graeme Reid (Chief Executive Officer) and the Provost of Aberdeenshire (Councillor Judy Whyte) and viewed a number of exhibits relating to energy transition in Peterhead and the wider region.

His Majesty this afternoon opened Energy Transition Zone Limited, Energy Works, Hareness Road, Altens Industrial Estate, Aberdeen, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor David Cameron, the Lord Provost), the Chairman of Energy Transition Zone (Mr. Trevor Garlick) and Ms. Margaret McGinlay (Chief Executive Officer) before meeting representatives of tenant organisations developing innovative technologies supporting energy transition.

The King afterwards visited the Headquarters of Great British Energy Group Limited, 2 Marischal Square, Aberdeen, and was received by Mr. Ian Ord (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen), the Chairman (Mr. Juergen Maier) and Mr. Daniel McGrail (Chief Executive Officer) before touring the offices and viewing a number of exhibits highlighting the organisation’s work.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Intelligence Corps, this afternoon visited the Land Intelligence Fusion Centre at Denison Barracks, Thatcham, Berkshire.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, later visited 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search Regiment at Longmoor Training Camp, Liss, and was received by Lieutenant General Sir Mark Mans (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, Blond McIndoe Research Foundation, this evening attended a Presentation and Reception at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, 38-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2, and was received by Commander Anne Sullivan RN (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His All Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch was received by The King this morning.

The Prince of Wales spoke via video link to the Rt. Hon. Mark Carney MP (Prime Minister of Canada) this afternoon.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal this afternoon officially opened the new office building of National Farmers' Union Mutual South Cotswolds, Sherston Mill, Brook Hill, Sherston, and was received by Mrs. Sophie de Courcy (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning picked up litter for World Clean-Up Day with the Spelthorne Litter Pickers at Hengrove Park, Station Crescent, Ashford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mrs. Neelam Devesher).

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Zambia.

Mr. Alexander Stonor and Mrs. Angus Galletley were in attendance.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Windsor Festival, and Patron, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Limited, this evening attended the inaugural performance of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Blueprint Orchestra for the Festival at Windsor Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, High Street, Windsor, and was received by Mr. Graham Barker (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

The King, Patron, this morning visited the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland at New Cumnock Town Hall, 31-33 Castle Street, New Cumnock, to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of the Partnership between the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The King’s Foundation, of which His Majesty is Royal Founding President, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran (Sheriff Iona McDonald), the Principal of the Conservatoire (Professor Jeffrey Sharkey) and Mr. Patrick Doyle (Composer).

The King met members of staff of the Junior Conservatoire of Dance and Scottish Ballet Associate Dancers before listening to a performance by the Junior Conservatoire Orchestra and subsequently attending a Reception.

His Majesty this afternoon convened a Forum on Artificial Intelligence and its role in serving the public good with leaders from the sector, at Dumfries House, and later attended a Reception with those who attended the Forum.

The King, Royal Founding President, The King’s Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

Kensington Palace

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon carried out the following engagements on the Isle of Bute and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses visited Bute Shinty and Amateur Athletic Club, Meadows Road, Rothesay.

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay afterwards participated in a beach clean up with volunteers from Beachwatch Bute at Ettrick Bay Beach.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited the Anchor Tavern, 33 Marine Road, Bannatyne.
