Buckingham Palace

The King, Lord of Mann this afternoon visited the Isle of Man and was received at Ronaldsway Airport by the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man (Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer).

His Majesty drove to the High Court of Tynwald, Douglas, and was received by the President of Tynwald (the Hon. Laurence Skelly), the Chief Minister (the Hon. Alfred Cannan), the Sword Bearer (Mr. Andrew Cunningham), the Speaker of the House of Keys (the Hon. Juan Watterson) and the Lord Bishop of Sodor and Man (the Right Reverend Patricia Hillas).

In the Legislative Council Chamber the President of Tynwald presented a Loyal Address to which His Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The King subsequently met members of the public outside the Tynwald Buildings.

His Majesty afterwards attended a Garden Party given by the Lieutenant Governor at Government House, Onchan.

The King later visited the Tram Shed, Queen's Promenade, Douglas, to mark the Sesquicentenary of Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, and was received by the Hon. Tim Crookall (Minister for the Department of Infrastructure) and the Mayor of Douglas (Mr. Councillor Steven Crellin).

His Majesty viewed Shire horses and historic carriages and met members of staff and volunteers, before travelling in a renovated double-deck tram along the Promenade and meeting members of the public.

The King afterwards visited Heroes on the Water, Port Soderick Beach, the Old Arcade, Port Soderick, and, having been received by the Chairman and Founding Member (Mr. Tony Palmer), met beneficiaries of the charity, volunteers and emergency services personnel.

The Queen, Patron, National Literacy Trust, this afternoon received Mr. Jonathan Douglas (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty this evening visited Heywood Hill, 10 Curzon Street, London W1, to mark its Ninetieth Anniversary.

The Queen subsequently attended a Literary Reception at Shepherd Market, London W1.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Qatar.

Brigadier Alexander Potts is in attendance.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today undertook the following engagements in Busan, Ulsan, and Seoul, South Korea:

Her Royal Highness this morning visited the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea, 93 UN Pyeonghwa-ro, Nam-gu, Busan, to commemorate British and Commonwealth Contribution to the Korean War, and laid a wreath.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited Busan North Port Redevelopment Promotion Centre, 45-66 Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard, 1000 Bangeojinsunhwando-ro, Dong-gu, Ulsan.

The Princess Royal later called upon The President of the Republic of Korea at the Blue House, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, 97 Saemunan-Ro, Dangju-Dong, Jongno-gu.

The Princess Royal subsequently attended a Dinner given by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (His Excellency Mr. Colin Crooks) at the Residence in Seoul.

The Duke of Gloucester this evening attended the St. George's House Annual Lecture in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Windsor Castle

The King this afternoon held a Meeting at Windsor Castle with members of the Sustainable Markets Initiative engaged in the reduction of atmospheric pollutants.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon received the Archbishop of Westminster (the Most Reverend Richard Moth).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, this evening attended a Reception at the Palace of Westminster, London SW1, marking the Seventieth Anniversary of the Award.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening arrived at Gimhae International Airport, Busan, South Korea, and was received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (His Excellency Mr. Colin Crooks).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited the Little Princess Trust, the Hannah Tarplee Building, 22-25 Berrington Street, Hereford, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire (Mr. Edward Harley).

Her Royal Highness today visited Hereford Make Community Interest Company, 2 Harrow Road, Hereford.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited Wyevale Nurseries, Wyevale Way, Kings Acre, Hereford, to mark its Ninety Fifth Anniversary.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales and The Princess of Wales, Patron, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon attended the Gentlemen's Final of the Lawn Tennis Championships at Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening departed Heathrow Airport, London, for the Republic of Korea.
