The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this morning attended the Service for the Laying-Up of Queen Elizabeth II's Sovereign's Standards of The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals in Salisbury Cathedral and was received by the Lord Talbot of Malahide (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon re-opened the Lloyd's Register Building, 71 Fenchurch Street, London EC3, and was received by Colonel Dominic Reid (a Lieutenant of the City of London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Maritime UK, later attended the London International Shipping Week Reception at Mansion House, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN (Extra Equerry to Her Royal Highness) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Earl of Sandwich which was held at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.
