Her Majesty visited Pooh Sticks Bridge, Hartfield, and played a game of Pooh Sticks.
The Queen afterwards visited the A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard Memorial, Gills Lap, and named the walk to the Memorial, "Queen's Walk".

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Tank Regiment, today attended the Regiment's Families' Day at the Tank Museum, Bovington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr. Michael Dooley), the Colonel Commandant (Brigadier Simon Ridgway) and the Chief Operating Officer of the Tank Museum (Mr. Simon Prager).
His Majesty arrived at the Tank Museum in a Rolls-Royce Armoured Car and met members of Museum staff in the World War One Tank Story Hall.
The King afterwards was received on parade with a Royal Salute and presented Service medals to soldiers.
His Majesty subsequently attended a Reception with members of the Regiment and their families, before viewing Challenger 2 and Challenger 3 Main Battle Tanks at the Museum's Conservation Centre.
