The King and Queen this morning visited BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (Neasden Temple), Pramukh Swami Road, Neasden, London NW10, to celebrate the Temple's Thirtieth Anniversary and were received by Miss Mei Sim Lai (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), the Chairman of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha United Kingdom (Mr. Jitu Patel) and Councillor Ryan Hack (Mayor of the London Borough of Brent).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Ms. Rena Amin (Head of External Relations for BAPS)), viewed flower petals being offered to the sacred image of Bhagwan Swaminarayan before observing the ceremonial pouring of water over a deity's image by the Head Priest (Pujya Yogvivekdas Swami).

The King and Queen subsequently viewed a model of the BAPS Mandir under construction in Paris, accompanied by Mr. Sanjay Kara (Chief Executive Officer, BAPS Paris Mandir Project), before meeting representatives from community and social impact initiatives supported by the Temple.

Their Majesties afterwards viewed schoolchildren performing a Vedic prayer for world peace before meeting members of the local community.

The King and Queen this evening gave a Reception at Windsor Castle in honour of The Duke of Kent's Ninetieth Birthday.

The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke of Gloucester, Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were present.

The Queen, Commodore-in-Chief, Naval Chaplaincy Service, this afternoon received the Venerable Andrew Hillier upon relinquishing his appointment as Chaplain of the Fleet and the Reverend Dr. Mark Davidson upon assuming the appointment.

Her Excellency Ms. Susanne Baumann was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Court of St. James's.

Mr. Peter Hans Johannes Schier was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Senadheera Dumunnage Nimal Upali Senadheera was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in London.

Ms. Herath Lenadora was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Dr. Rajeshwar Jeetah was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Mauritius in London.

Mrs. Jhotee Bhunjun Jeetah was also received by His Majesty.

Ms. Christina Scott (Director General Network, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

His Honour the Hon. Dr. Wassim Salamoun was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as Lieutenant-Governor of Prince Edward Island.

Her Honour Marie Salamoun-Dunne was also received by His Majesty.

His Honour the Hon. Michael Savage was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia.

Her Honour Ms. Darlene Savage was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Thomas Drew was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic and non-resident Ambassador to the Principality of Monaco.

Lady Drew was also received by The King.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The King, Royal Founding President, this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace to mark the Tenth Anniversary of The King's Trust International.

The Queen this morning visited the Poppy Workshop at Martingate Shopping Centre, Corsham, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the end of the Second World War and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Dame Sarah Troughton).

Her Majesty afterwards laid a wreath on the First World War Memorial at St. Bartholomew's Church, Corsham.

The Queen this afternoon officially opened Bromham Community Hub, New Road, Bromham, Wiltshire.

Her Majesty, President, Royal Osteoporosis Society, this evening attended a Reception in London.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The King this morning arrived at Lichfield Trent Valley Railway Station and was received by Mr. Graham Morley (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire).

His Majesty drove to Lichfield Cathedral and was received by the Bishop of Lichfield (the Right Reverend Michael Ipgrave) and the Dean (the Right Reverend Janet McFarlane).

The King, escorted by the Dean, proceeded around the Fenland Black Oak Table, the "Table for the Nation", meeting representatives from local heritage and community organisations, before meeting members of the public outside the Cathedral.

His Majesty afterwards attended the L.G.B.T.+ Armed Forces Community Memorial Dedication Event at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, Staffordshire, and was received by the Chief of the Defence Staff (Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton), the National Chairman of the Royal British Legion (Ms. Lynda Atkins), the Managing Director of the National Memorial Arboretum (Mrs. Philippa Rawlinson), the Chairman of Fighting With Pride (Mr. Edmund Hall), Ms. Louise Sandher-Jones MP (Minister for Veterans and People) and Mrs. Anisha Worbs (Director, Office for Veteran Affairs, Ministry of Defence).

The King laid a bouquet at the Memorial and subsequently met L.G.B.T.+ serving personnel and veterans.

The King and Queen this morning attended a Welcome Ceremony at the Apostolic Palace, Vatican City, and were received in St. Damasus Courtyard by the Regent of the Prefecture of the Papal Household (the Reverend Monsignor Leonardo Sapienza) and the Gentleman of the Pope (Prince of Windisch-Gaetz, Mariano Hugo).

Their Majesties visited The Sovereign of the State of the Vatican City (His Holiness Pope Leo XIV).

The King afterwards held a Meeting with His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin (Cardinal Secretary of State, Holy See) at the Apostolic Palace.

Their Majesties, with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, this afternoon attended an Ecumenical Service in the Sistine Chapel.

The King, with His Holiness, subsequently joined a Meeting on Sustainability in the Apostolic Palace.

Afterwards, inside the Sistine Chapel, The King and Queen viewed two of the series of tapestries of the Acts of the Apostles produced on the basis of preparatory drawings and cartoons by Raphael.

Their Majesties later drove to the Papal Basilica and Abbey of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Piazzale San Paolo, Rome, and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Holy See (His Excellency Mr. Christopher Trott), the Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls (His Eminence Cardinal James Harvey) and Dom Donato Ogliari (Abbot of the Basilica).

Inside the Basilica, The King and Queen visited the Tomb of St. Paul, before attending an Ecumenical Service at which the title 'Royal Confrater' of the Abbey was conferred upon His Majesty.

The King and Queen afterwards attended a Reception at the Pontifical Beda College, Viale San Paolo, Rome, and were received by the Rector of the College (Canon Marcus Holden) and the Rector of Pontifical Scots College (Father Mark Cassidy).

The Queen this morning visited the Pauline Chapel in the Apostolic Palace.

Her Majesty later met the children of the Choir of His Majesty's Chapel Royal, the Choir of St. George's Chapel, Windsor, and the Sistine Chapel Choir in the Sistine Chapel.

The Queen this afternoon held a Meeting with Sisters from the International Union of Superiors General at the Pontifical Beda College.

The King and Queen this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Italy.

Villa Wolkonsky, Rome, Italy

The King and Queen left Farnborough Airport, Hampshire, this afternoon for the State Visit to the Holy See.

Their Majesties were received at the Airport by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

The King and Queen this evening arrived at Rome Ciampino Airport, Italy, and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Holy See (His Excellency Mr. Christopher Trott) and the Vatican City Head of Protocol (Monsignor Javier Domingo Fernandez).

Their Majesties arrived at the Residence in Rome and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Italian Republic and San Marino (His Excellency the Lord Llewellyn of Steep).

Admiral Sir Antony Radakin was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff.

His Majesty received Mr. Mumtaz Khan (Founder, London's Community Kitchen).

Later, the Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The King this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace in advance of the Western Balkans Leaders' Summit (the Berlin Process) in London.

His Majesty was represented by Rear Admiral Jonathan Pentreath at the Funeral of Vice Admiral Sir Jonathan Tod which was held at the Chapel, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, this morning.

The King this afternoon visited Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, 84 Middleton Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, to meet those affected by the recent terrorist attack, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins), the Rabbi of Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue (Rabbi Daniel Walker) and the Chief Rabbi (Sir Ephraim Mirvis).

His Majesty viewed floral tributes at the entrance to the Synagogue and, inside, met members of the congregation and the local Jewish community, and community first responders.

The King afterwards visited the Headquarters of Greater Manchester Police Force, Northampton Road, Manchester, and was received by the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police (Sir Stephen Watson) and the Mayor of Greater Manchester (the Rt. Hon. Andrew Burnham).

The King met firearms officers and members of the Police, Fire and Rescue, and Ambulance Services involved in the recent terrorist attack, and interfaith leaders.

Later, The King arrived at Buckingham Palace.
