The King, with The Duke of Kent and accompanied by Earl and Countess of St. Andrews, Mr. Timothy and the Lady Helen Taylor, the Lord Nicholas Windsor and other Members of the Royal Family and of the family of Her late Royal Highness, was present.
The Viscount Hood (Lord in Waiting) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this evening upon the Arrival of The President of the United States of America and Mrs. Trump and welcomed The President and Mrs. Trump on behalf of The King.

The King held a Council at St. James's Palace at 3.45 p.m..

The King, Patron, the Braemar Royal Highland Society, and The Queen this afternoon attended the Braemar Gathering at the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park, Broombank Terrace, Braemar, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr. Alexander Manson) and the President of the Society (Mr. Peter Fraser).

The King was represented by Lieutenant General Sir Robert Magowan (Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff and former Commandant General Royal Marines) at the Funeral of Lieutenant General Sir Robin Ross (former Commandant General Royal Marines) which was held at St. Mary and St. Nicholas Church, West Street, Wilton, Wiltshire, this afternoon.

The King this afternoon visited the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri, Birmingham, following the canonisation of Cardinal John Henry Newman and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Dr. Derrick Anderson), the Provost of Birmingham Oratory (the Reverend Father Ignatius Harrison) and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham (Councillor Zafar Iqbal).
His Majesty, escorted by the Provost, walked through the shrine to Cardinal Newman, before viewing a display in the library.
The King visited Cardinal Newman's room and subsequently met members of staff.
His Majesty later drove to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, Grove Lane, Smethwick, and was received by the Chairman of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (Sir David Nicholson), Ms. Diane Wake (Chief Executive of the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust) and the Mayor of Sandwell (Councillor Stephen Melia).
The King, escorted by the Chairman and Chief Executive, met patients and members of staff in the acute elderly care ward, before visiting the Winter Garden and meeting volunteers and more members of staff.
His Majesty then officially opened Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.

The Queen, Royal Colonel, this afternoon visited 4th Battalion The Rangers at New Normandy Barracks, Evelyn Woods Road, Aldershot, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

Her Majesty, Patron, Cornwall Community Foundation, this afternoon visited Wave House Church, East Street, Newquay.
The Queen, Patron, Cornwall Air Ambulance, later opened the Newman Wing at the Charity's Headquarters, Trevithick Downs, Newquay, and officially named the second Cornwall Air Ambulance helicopter, "The Duke of Cornwall".
The King and Queen were represented by Major Christopher Cox (Lieutenant of The King's Bodyguard of the Yeomen of the Guard) at the Memorial Service for Colonel Shaun Longsdon (former Lieutenant of The King's Bodyguard of the Yeomen of the Guard) which was held at St. Mary's Church, Fairford, Gloucestershire, this afternoon.
