The King and Queen left Royal Air Force Brize Norton this morning for the State Visit to the United States of America.

Their Majesties were received at the Station by the Lord Benyon (Lord Chamberlain) and Mr. James Macnamara (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

The King and Queen this afternoon arrived at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the United States of America (His Excellency Sir Christian Turner), Ms. Monica Crowley (Chief of Protocol of the United States) and Colonel Christopher Robinson (United States Air Force Commander, 89th Airlift Wing).

Their Majesties were received with a Royal Salute.

The King and Queen subsequently drove to Blair House, Washington DC.

The King and Queen visited The President of the United States of America and Mrs. Trump at the White House.

Their Majesties later attended a Garden Party given by His Majesty's Ambassador to the United States of America at the Residence and were received by Mr. James Roscoe (Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy in Washington).

At the Garden Party, The King and Queen placed a Commemorative Coin, minted by the Royal Mint to celebrate the Two Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, inside a Time Capsule commissioned as part of the America 250 Twin Time Capsule Project.

The following are in attendance: the Rt. Hon. Yvette Cooper MP (Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs), the Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Alderton, Mr. Theo Rycroft, Mr. Tobyn Andreae, Professor Charles Deakin, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Thompson, Mrs. Sophia Densham, Dr. Michael Dixon, Major Robert Treasure and Ms. Caroline Hurndall.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) received Her Excellency Mrs. Iruthisham Adam at St. James's Palace this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Maldives in London.

The King today undertook engagements at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

The Rt. Hon. Steven Reed MP (Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government) was received in audience by His Majesty.

The King this afternoon received a BBC "Green" Blue Peter Badge at the Pierburg Education Centre in recognition of His Majesty's work protecting nature and the environment, and subsequently sealed a King's Foundation time capsule in the Queen Elizabeth II Walled Garden.

His Majesty afterwards met students at the Jameel Centre for Traditional Arts who are participating in the CHANEL, le19M and The King's Foundation Métiers d'art Atelier Fellowship Programme.

The King later joined a Reception for representatives from Glasgow Emergency Services.

His Majesty this evening held a Dinner.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King this morning.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, this afternoon attended the presentation of the recommendations for the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1, and were received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London), the Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Committee (the Lord Janvrin) and the Chairman of Trustees of the British Museum (Mr. George Osborne).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman of the Memorial Committee and Dr. Anna Keay (Member of the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Committee) and accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, viewed the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Model and Maquettes, and met artists and architects.

The King and Queen afterwards held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Centenary of the Birth of Queen Elizabeth II at which The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were present.

The King later joined a Reception at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire, for attendees of the Roundtable Discussion "From Declaration to Delivery: Practical action in response to the Declaration on Sustainable Urbanization".

His Majesty subsequently received the Hon. Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo (Vice President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana).

The King this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

The King and Queen were represented by the Earl of Halifax at the Service of Thanksgiving for Mr. Ian Balding (Racehorse Trainer to Queen Elizabeth II) which was held at Park House Stables, Kingsclere, Hampshire, this morning.

The Princess Royal was represented by Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles.

The King this morning visited George Strachan Limited of Royal Deeside, Main Street, Aboyne, to mark its Centenary and was received by the Lady Saltoun (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire).

His Majesty met members of the Strachan family and shop staff.

The King was represented by Admiral Roy Clare at the Funeral of Mr. Peter Still (former Coxswain of HMS BRONINGTON) which was held at Porchester Crematorium, Porchester, Hampshire, this morning.

The King and Queen this morning arrived at St Asaph Cathedral and were received at the West Door by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Clwyd (Mr. Henry Fetherstonhaugh), the Bishop of St. Asaph (the Right Reverend Gregory Cameron) and the Dean (the Very Reverend Nigel Williams).

The King and Queen attended the Maundy Service at which His Majesty distributed the Royal Maundy.

The Right Reverend Graham Usher (Lord High Almoner) and the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Almoner) were present.

The King's Body Guard of the Yeoman of the Guard were on duty.

After the Service the new Welsh Chaplains were presented to Their Majesties by the Dean of the Chapel Royal in Wales (the Right Reverend Dorrien Davies).

The King and Queen this afternoon attended a Reception in front of the West Door before meeting well wishers outside the Cathedral.
