Buckingham Palace

The King held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

His Majesty, Patron and Permanent Master, the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, this afternoon received Mr. James Cunningham and presented him with The King's Silver Medal for 2025.

Mrs. Cunningham was also received by His Majesty.

Admiral Sir George Zambellas (Prime Warden) was present.

Later, The President of the Syrian Arab Republic visited The King at Buckingham Palace.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty this evening.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this afternoon.

Windsor Castle

The King this morning received representatives from international and United Kingdom fisheries organisations.

His Majesty this afternoon joined a Reception at Windsor Castle held by the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance.

Buckingham Palace

The King this afternoon visited Oxford Photovoltaics Limited, Oxford Pioneer Park, Mead Road, Yarnton, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs. Marjorie Glasgow), the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor (Professor Henry Snaith) and the Chief Executive Officer (Mr. David Ward).

His Majesty, escorted by the Chief Executive Officer, viewed a demonstration of perovskites before visiting the onsite laboratory.

The King afterwards visited O.X.C.C.U. Tech Limited (Oxford Carbon Capture Utilization), Oxford Airport, Langford Lane, Oxford, and was received by the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (Mr. Andrew Symes).

His Majesty, escorted by the Co-Founder, visited the laboratories and met members of staff.

Buckingham Palace

The King, Patron, Plantlife International, today received Mr. Philip Mould (President) and Ms. Nicola Hutchinson (Interim Chief Executive Officer).

His Majesty, Patron, the British Red Cross Society, received Ms. Elizabeth Padmore upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton (Chief of the Defence Staff) was received by The King.

His Majesty, Royal Founding Patron, In Kind Direct, received Mr. Michael Gidney (Chief Executive Officer).

Buckingham Palace

The King held an Investiture at St. James's Palace this morning.

His Majesty, Patron, the National Gallery, received Mr. John Booth (Chairman of the Board of Trustees) at Buckingham Palace.

The following were received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon their appointment as His Majesty's Ambassadors: Ms. Victoria Billing (the Kingdom of Denmark), Mr. Javed Patel (the Republic of Croatia), Mr. Qudsi Rasheed (the State of Kuwait) and Ms. Zoë Ware (the Democratic Republic of Congo and His Majesty's non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Congo and His Majesty's non-resident Ambassador to the Central African Republic).

Mrs. Ambrina Bashar and Mrs. Leen Odeh, were also received by His Majesty.

Ms. Victoria Busby was received in audience by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta.

His Majesty received Sir Damon Buffini upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman of the Trustees of the Royal Anniversary Trust and Mr. Richard Meddings upon assuming the appointment.

The King and The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, this evening gave a Reception at Clarence House.

The Duchess of Gloucester was present.

The Queen this morning attended a Reception at the Garrick Club, 15 Garrick Street, London WC2.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms. Abida Islam at 28 Queen's Gate, London SW7, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the People's Republic of Bangladesh in London.

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning visited the Eden Project, Bodelva, marking its Twenty Fifth Anniversary, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Sir Edward Bolitho), the Co-Founder (Sir Timothy Smit) and the Group Chief Executive Officer (Mr. Andrew Jasper).

His Majesty, escorted by the Co-Founder and the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Her Majesty, escorted by Ms. Erica Neve (Eden Project Trustee) and Mr. Peter Stewart (Director Emeritus and Founder, the Big Lunch), viewed a section of the new marble run and met members of the design team.

The King this afternoon visited Holy Trinity Church, St. Austell, and met local community groups and representatives from Young People Cornwall.

His Majesty afterwards walked to Market House, St. Austell, and met local business people based in the market and representatives from the Market House Regeneration committee.

The Queen arrived at Market House and met representatives from the Male Allyship initiative and, as Patron of Children's Hospice South West, met those from Children's Hospice South West, Little Harbour.

Their Majesties subsequently walked along St. Austell High Street meeting members of the public.

The Queen, Patron, Silver Stories, this afternoon visited St. Austell Library, 2 Carlyon Road, St. Austell, and was received by Mrs. Daphne Skinnard (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of His Majesty, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Inigo Lambertini at 4 Grosvenor Square, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Italian Republic to the Court of St. James's.

Windsor Castle

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu, with the Nigerian Suite in attendance, this morning took leave of The King and Queen and left Windsor Castle.

The President and Mrs. Tinubu later visited Westminster Abbey where His Excellency laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria afterwards visited No. 10 Downing Street and had talks with the Prime Minister.

The President this afternoon attended the signing of the United Kingdom Export Finance Agreement between the United Kingdom and Nigeria at Lancaster House, Stable Yard, London SW1.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu later visited the "Nigerian Modernism" exhibition at Tate Modern, Bankside, London SE1, and, having been received by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Tate Group (Mr. Roland Rudd), attended a Reception with Nigerians in the United Kingdom.

Mrs. Tinubu this morning visited Lambeth Palace, London SE1, and attended a Service followed by a Reception.

The Lord Benyon (Lord Chamberlain) was present at London Stansted Airport this afternoon upon the Departure of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu and bade farewell to The President and Mrs. Tinubu on behalf of His Majesty upon the conclusion of the State Visit to The King and Queen.

The King this morning attended a Reception at Saltmarsh Café, Seven Sisters Country Park, East Dean Road, Seaford, given by South Downs National Park Authority for those who have contributed to the creation of Seven Sisters National Nature Reserve and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr. Andrew Blackman) and the Chairman of Natural England (Mr. Anthony Juniper).

His Majesty, accompanied by the Chairman of Natural England, afterwards walked along the King Charles III England Coast Path, meeting National Nature Reserve staff and volunteers, and members of the England Coast Path team, before officially opening Seven Sisters National Nature Reserve and launching the King Charles III England Coast Path.

Windsor Castle

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu arrived at Windsor Castle today on a State Visit to The King and Queen.

The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of Their Majesties at Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel, Bishopsgate Road, Windsor, and travelled by car to the Royal Dais in Datchet Road, Windsor, where The President and Mrs. Tinubu were met by The King and Queen.

Their Excellencies, accompanied by Their Majesties with Their Royal Highnesses, drove in a Carriage Procession to Windsor Castle with a Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry.

Gun Salutes were fired in the Home Park (Private) by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company.

A Guard of Honour was provided at Windsor Castle by 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, who later marched past.

The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery marched past and the Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry ranked past.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard and the Military Knights of Windsor were on duty.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria this afternoon attended a Meeting with The King.

Mrs. Tinubu attended a Luncheon given by The Queen.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu, accompanied by The King, Royal Founding Patron, The King's Trust, later attended an Interfaith Event at Vicars' Hall, College of St. George, Windsor Castle, and were received by the Right Reverend Dr. Christopher Cocksworth (Dean of Windsor), the Chairman of The King's Trust International (Mr. Shabir Randeree), the Bishop of Willesden and Lead Bishop for Interfaith (the Right Reverend Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy) and Mr. David Smith MP (Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief).

Their Excellencies, accompanied by His Majesty, met representatives of charities and groups engaged in interfaith dialogue.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu later visited St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and were received by the Dean.

His Excellency laid a Wreath of Flowers on the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II in The King George VI Chapel.

The King and Queen gave a State Banquet this evening in honour of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Tinubu at which The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.
