The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited Colonsay House, Isle of Colonsay, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Colonsay Distillery, Upper Kilchattan.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited local businesses in Scalasaig, Colonsay.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited "the Campbell Watson" lifeboat at North Pier, Oban, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Kerrera Marina, Isle of Kerrera, and were received by Mr. Neil Matheson (Deputy Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited Kerrera Community Woodlands.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Kerrera Old School Community Hub.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Tigh An Truish, Isle of Seil.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Isle of Easdale and were received by Mrs. Rachel Ross (Deputy Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh later visited the Atlantic Islands Centre, Cullipool, Isle of Luing, and were received by Mr. Andrew Campbell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Small Isles Primary School, Isle of Jura, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Jura Care Centre, Craighouse, Isle of Jura.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh later visited Jura Distillery, Craighouse.

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning visited Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London SW1, to mark its Centenary and were received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London) and the High Commissioner for Canada in London (His Excellency the Hon. Ralph Goodale).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Honorary President of Royal Canadian Geographical Society (Chief Perry Bellegarde) and the Chief Executive Officer of Parks Canada (Mr. Ron Hallman), viewed the Royal Canadian Geographical Society floor map in the Borden-Mackenzie Rooms and met guests, including notable Canadian citizens, and members of staff.

His Majesty was presented with a Key to Canada House by the High Commissioner and, with Her Majesty, subsequently viewed an exhibition in the Canada Gallery celebrating the One Hundredth Anniversary of Canada House.

The Baroness Scotland of Asthal was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing her appointment as Commonwealth Secretary-General.

His Majesty received the Lord Janvrin (Chairman of The Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee).

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, and The Princess of Wales gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Central Band of the Royal Air Force played selections of music during the afternoon.

The King was represented by the Earl Rosslyn (Lord Steward and Personal Secretary to The King and Queen) at the Memorial Service for Dame Rosalind Savill (formerly Director of the Wallace Collection) which was held at St. Marylebone Parish Church, 17 Marylebone Road, London NW1, this afternoon.

The Duchess of Edinburgh was represented by Dr. Xavier Bray.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this evening attended the Orbis Visionaries Reception at Battersea Power Station, Circus Road West, London SW11.
