Her Royal Highness was received by The King of Denmark at King Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg, Copenhagen.

The Duchess of Edinburgh later arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Denmark.

Buckingham Palace

The Queen, President, the Ebony Horse Club, and Patron, the British Equestrian Federation, this morning attended Badminton Horse Trials, Gloucestershire.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, and The Princess of Wales gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Bands of the Irish Guards and the Royal Air Force Regiment played selections of music during the afternoon.

His Excellency Mr. Aminu Muhammad Dalhatu was received in audience by The King this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Federal Republic of Nigeria in London.

Mrs. Dalhatu was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Dr. Alejandro Gertz Manero was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the United Mexican States to the Court of St. James's.

His Excellency Mr. Fabio Cassese was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Italian Republic to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Flaminia Battistelli was also received by His Majesty.
