The winners of the Defence Operational Shooting Competition were received by His Majesty this afternoon and presented with The King's Medal.
Captain Prithi Chhantyal, The Queen's Gurkha Engineers, and Captain Shiva Rai, 2nd Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles, (The King's Gurkha Orderly Officers), were received by The King when His Majesty invested them with the Insignia of Members of the Royal Victorian Order.

Her Majesty visited Pooh Sticks Bridge, Hartfield, and played a game of Pooh Sticks.
The Queen afterwards visited the A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard Memorial, Gills Lap, and named the walk to the Memorial, "Queen's Walk".
Her Majesty, Patron, Plumpton College Charitable Foundation, this afternoon visited Plumpton College, Ditchling Road, Plumpton, to mark its Centenary and was received by Mrs. Kathleen Sambrook (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain (London Welsh School), Hanwell Community Centre, Westcott Crescent, London W7, in support of Team Wales ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and was received by Mr. Richard Kornicki (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, today held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, the Welding Institute, this morning attended the 2026 Welding, Joining and Manufacturing Conference and Exhibition at TWI Limited, Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridge, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Catch22, this afternoon attended the Celebrating Our People Awards at Salesforce Tower London, 110 Bishopsgate, London EC2.
Buckingham Palace
The King, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Tank Regiment, today attended the Regiment's Families' Day at the Tank Museum, Bovington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr. Michael Dooley), the Colonel Commandant (Brigadier Simon Ridgway) and the Chief Operating Officer of the Tank Museum (Mr. Simon Prager).
His Majesty arrived at the Tank Museum in a Rolls-Royce Armoured Car and met members of Museum staff in the World War One Tank Story Hall.
The King afterwards was received on parade with a Royal Salute and presented Service medals to soldiers.
His Majesty subsequently attended a Reception with members of the Regiment and their families, before viewing Challenger 2 and Challenger 3 Main Battle Tanks at the Museum's Conservation Centre.
