The King held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

Mrs. Justice Brunner, Mrs. Justice Norton, Mrs. Justice Obi and Mrs. Justice Smyth were received by The King at Windsor Castle this afternoon upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when His Majesty invested them with the Insignia of Dames Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Mr. Justice Birt, Mr. Justice Cawson, Mr. Justice Coppel, Mr. Justice Kimblin, Mr. Justice Mansfield, Mr. Justice McLaughlin and Mr. Justice Moody were received by The King upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when His Majesty conferred upon them the honour of Knighthood and invested them with the Insignia of Knights Bachelor.

The National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations (Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak) and Regional Chiefs and Elders from the Assembly of First Nations were received by The King.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The King, Patron, and The Queen this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace to mark the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary of Cancer Research UK.

The Princess of Wales and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

The Queen this afternoon officially opened the John King Brain Tumour Foundation Garden attached to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Atkinson Morley Wing, St. George's Hospital, Blackshaw Road, London SW17, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay, Commodore-in-Chief, Submarine Service, this afternoon visited His Majesty's Naval Base Clyde, Faslane, Dunbartonshire, and afterwards met serving Submarines and their families at Drumfork Community Centre, Churchill Square, Helensburgh.

The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this morning visited St. Julian's School, Quinta Nova, Avenida Jorge V, Carcavelos, Portugal.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Portuguese Republic (Her Excellency Ms. Lisa Bandari), today visited Aerodrómo da Atouguia de Baleia, Atouguia da Baleia, Peniche, and viewed Anglo-Portuguese drone manufacturing.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Batalha Monastery, Largo Infante Dom Henrique, Batalha.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning attended a Model NATO Conference at the National Defence Institute, Calçada das Necessidades, Lisbon.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this afternoon visited 13 Air Assault Support Regiment, Merville Barracks, Colchester, Essex.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Younger Brethren's Dinner at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

The King was represented by Mr. Rodney Vousden (Keeper of the Royal Philatelic Collection) at the Funeral of Mr. Michael Sefi (former Keeper of the Royal Philatelic Collection) which was held in Arundel Cathedral, West Sussex, this morning.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning attended the Conductor Parchment Ceremony at the Royal Logistic Corps Museum, Connaught Road, Worthy Down, Kings Worthy, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the Kingfisher Suite at Trinity Winchester, Bradbury House, Durngate Terrace, Winchester, Hampshire.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 6th Battalion The Rifles, afterwards visited the Rifleman's Museum, Peninsula Barracks, Romsey Road, Winchester.

The King, Patron, the Red Squirrel Survival Trust, this morning visited the Animal and Plant Health Agency, York Biotech Campus, Sand Hutton, York, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (Mrs. Johanna Ropner), the Chairman of the Animal and Plant Health Agency (Miss Elizabeth Buchanan), the Chief Executive of Fera Science Limited (Dr. Andrew Swift) and the Head of the Agency's National Wildlife Management Centre (Dr. Julie Lane).

His Majesty, escorted by the Head of the National Wildlife Management Centre, toured the Squirrel Research Centre and met scientists and researchers involved in conservation initiatives to support the endangered red squirrel population in the United Kingdom.

His Majesty was briefed on the use of a specialist feeding programme and feeding devices, before meeting representatives of red squirrel conservation groups and volunteers.

The King, Patron, Macmillan Cancer Support, this afternoon visited York Hospital, Wigginton Road, York, and was received by the Chairman of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Mr. Martin Barkley) and the Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support (Mrs. Gemma Peters).

His Majesty, escorted by Miss Clare Smith (Chief Executive of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and the Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support, visited the site of the redeveloped Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Cancer Centre, viewing the Magnolia Centre and the Cancer Centre's Garden, and meeting patients, clinicians, volunteers and members of York Hospital staff.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Douangmany Gnotsyoudom at 49 Porchester Terrace, London W2, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the Court of St. James's.

His Royal Highness today visited Thomas Dudley Limited, 295 Birmingham New Road, Dudley, and was received by Mr. Nicholas Venning (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

Her Royal Highness this morning visited Firkas Fortress and Maritime Museum of Crete, Old Venetian Port of Chania, Akti Kountourioti, Chania.

The Princess Royal afterwards attended the Official Doxology to commemorate the Eighty Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Crete at Chania Metropolitan Church, Chalidon, Chania.

Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a Civic Flag Parade and Royal Air Force Display to commemorate the Eighty Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Crete at Chania Harbour, Markou, Chania.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Greece.

Lieutenant Colonel Catherine Skinner and Captain Fergus Lupton were in attendance.

The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, later attended the Eighty Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Crete Commemoration Service and laid a wreath at Souda Bay Cemetery.

Her Royal Highness this evening visited the Tomb of Eleftherios Venizelos (noted Greek Statesman) at Profitis Ilias Hill, Akrotiri, Chania.

The Princess Royal afterwards attended a Reception given by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic at the Grand Arsenal, Chania.
